Tulsa, OK – Next Saturday October the 7th, the Coalition of Hispanic Organizations (COHO) will host the next Tulsa Health Fair, and is encouraging all the community to participate in the event.
Jessica Lozano, part of the organization committee, said that the fair is in its 8th year, and the location is St. Thomas More church – 2720 S. 129th East Ave.
The event is free and open to the public from 9 am to 2 pm.
Free flu vaccines will be given to those in need with the help of Walgreens, and you will also be able to check your blood sugar, blood pressure, cholesterol, have a tooth checkup, ask for a pregnancy test, have an ultrasound and more. Mental health professionals will be on site and even hairdressers for the little kids. Don’t miss the raffles and the fun games there for all the family.
OSU joins the event with a stand meant to offer information on educational opportunities for the Hispanic community. Tulsa Tech, Morton, Go Life, Spring Dental, Community Health Connection and NSU will also be present.
