El fútbol en Estados sigue creciendo, y raramente hermanos tienen la oportunidad de entrenar juntos, y especialmente en el fútbol profesional. Después de mas de treinta años separados, Josema y Fabián viven el sueno americano a su manera. Pero cómo llegaron estos dos “Pibes” a donde están hoy?

 

“Llegue a Estados Unidos en 1996 a jugar con Dallas, y me quede a jugar para terminar la carrera como entrenador, Fabián a su vez era preparador físico, yo estaba en un equipo de futbol juvenil y nos dimos cuenta que nos faltaba el preparador físico y fue como presente a Fabián, de allí comenzó la relaciones, hubo una reunión y ahora forma parte del cuerpo técnico de Dallas,” nos relato Josema Bazán quien es asistente técnico del Dallas FC.

“Venimos de una familia donde un papa es muy futbolero, hicimos diferente caminos, Josema fue jugador profesional, yo no lo logre por las lesiones. Somos de un pueblo muy pequeño del interior de Argentina. Entonces me dedique a estudiar educación física, y desde ese punto me logre meter al futbol profesional, los dos llegamos al futbol diferente, el opto por ser entrenador y yo como preparador físico, y el futbol nos unió. Soy un agradecido, y me considero que puedo ser un buen preparado físico,” nos compartió Fabián quien hace la función de preparador físico para el Dallas FC.

Para los hermanos Bazan el futbol lo vivieron de maneras muy distintas, perlo lo que si le queda claro de que para lograr el éxito como jugador profesional en Estados Unidos es diferente que en el resto del mundo. Además, el jugador de fútbol en la nación americana tiene la opción de lograr un titulo universitario a través del fútbol, y que puede servir de colchón si el éxito como futbolista profesional no se logra.

“El fútbol acá en estados unidos es muy lindo porque te alarga la carrera, aquí a los 20 años poder debutar, el estudio te la oportunidad de adquirir tu educación y todavía jugar futbol profesional, puedes jugar 4 anos en estados unidos en una universidad y seguís siendo juego para jugar en la MLS. En otros países es muy difícil, aquí con tu titulo tienes esa opción de ser profesional si el futbol no te da esa oportunidad. Tienes que ser ordenado.” Agregó Josema.

“ En 1989 entrene el primer equipo, yo creo que en todas las edades el futbol y la educación van de la mano. A los chicos hay que decirles que pueden estudiar y jugar. Este mundo tan global donde la comunicación es muy importante, y si uno tiene la oportunidad de tener un desarrollo óptico. Aquí hay todo al alcance y si no quieres estudiar es porque no lo tienes integrado.” Dijo Fabián.

Después de muchos anos separados por los diferente destinos y objetivos que tenían trazados, la relación laboral no afecta en lo absoluta la hermandad que existe entre ambos.

“Nuestra relación laboral es muy buena, debatimos cosas como lo hacemos con el resto del cuerpo técnico, nos conocemos mucho aunque estuvimos mucho tiempo separado. Somos muy unidos, la relación es muy buena.” Dijo Josema

“Yo creo que una de las cosas que me gusta es que opinamos diferentes, no pensamos igual porque somos hermanos. Nosotros tenemos nuestras diferencias que puedan existir porque lo mío esta inclinada al aspecto físico. Pero como dice Josema nuestras decisiones son las mismas. Nosotros estuvimos mas de 30 anos separados y nos respetamos nuestros espacios.” Agrego Fabián

Tanto Josema como Fabián tenían sueños y objetivos diferentes, lo cierto es que el haber llegado a Estados Unidos; sino era el sueno de vivir en la nación americana, los objetivos se han logrado como lo describe Josema “yo nunca soné venir a estados unidos, yo tenia mucha pasión por el futbol, nosotros no sabíamos nada del futbol de estados unidos, sabíamos que estados unidos había ido al mundial del 30, cuando llegue aquí estaba al final de mi carrera, vi algo lindo en este país para triunfar, hoy día sin ser mi sueno americano el ser entrenador aquí en Estados Unidos, pero desde el 96 para acá me trace el objetivo, y puedo decir que hoy si estoy logrando el sueno o el objetivo que me trace, dirigir a los juveniles y después pasar al profesionalismo y hoy lo disfruto.”

“El sueño mío siempre ha sido el fútbol, nosotros aquí nos podemos desarrollar con más tranquilidad, y eso la hace mas cierto, si el sueño americano es poder ser más exitoso en una carrera determina entonces si creo que USA te da eso. La estructura te da cierta paz para desarrollar el trabajo. Lo que nosotros tenemos es que podemos convivir de una forma correcta. En otros países perder 5 partidos te vas, nuestra institución te lo permite y lo puedes desarrollar, entonces si ese es el sueño americano entonces sí.” Compartió Fabián.

Nada en este mundo es fácil, especialmente si eres inmigrante. Aunque el fútbol se trae en la sangre, y que no simplemente es una pasión, al extremo que puede ser hasta religión, la dedicación y la persistencia han sido dos ingredientes de mucha efectividad para los hermanos Bazan.

“Nosotros en este país identificamos que con honestidad y talento puedes lograr muchas cosas. Yo he trabajado con muchos chicos, el nivel intelectual es muy importante, le aconsejo a los chicos que no dejen de estudiar, la parte intelectual hace mucho falta al jugar, que elijan bien, los padres son muy importante, antes nosotros nos creamos en la calle, y nos enseñaban los más grandes. A veces nosotros no estamos capacitados para tomar decisiones importantes, que sigan sonando y que sigan persistentes, hoy el talento no es suficiente. Hay que entrenar, descansar, y comer bien, es 33% para cada tema. Si tengo que dar un consejo, esto sería.” Concluyó Josema.

“La persistencia es esencial, las grandes cabezas que han cambiado ciertas cosas de la humanidad, es producto del ensayo y error. Continuamente decir, mañana lo hago mejor. Los grandes coeficientes intelectuales no han marcado los caminos de la humanidad. Sino los tipos que han podido crecer con una idea y cumplirla y eso es producto de persistir.’ Finalizó Fabián.

Soccer in the States continues to grow, and rarely brothers have the opportunity to work together in professional sports , especially in Major League Soccer. After more than thirty years apart, Josema and Fabian are living the American dream in their own way.

But how did these two “Pibes” get to where they are today?

“I came to the United States in 1996 to play with Dallas, and I stayed to play to finish my coaching career, Fabián was a physical trainer, I was in a youth soccer team and we realized that we lacked the physical trainer and I introduce Fabian to Dallas FC, from there he started the relationship, and now he is part of the technical staff of Dallas, “says Josema Bazán who is a technical assistant of Dallas FC.

“We come from a family where our father is a football fan, we made different paths, Josema was a professional player, I did not succeed because of the injuries. We are from a very small town in the interior of Argentina. Then I dedicated myself to study physical education, and from that point I managed to get to professional teams, we both took different path to soccer, Josema opted to be a coach and I opted to be a physical trainer, and soccer united us. I am grateful, and I consider myself to be a good physical trainer, “shared Fabián, who is the physical trainer for Dallas FC.

For the Bazan brother, they lived soccer in very different ways, but what if it is clear that to achieve success as a professional player in the United States is different than in the rest of the world. In addition, the soccer player in the United State has the option of achieving a college degree through soccer, and that can serve as key to open another door if success as a professional soccer player is not achieved.

“Soccer here in the United States is very nice because it extends your career, here at the age of 20 players can make their dayview as professionals. Soccer gives you the opportunity to acquire your education and still play professional soccer, you can play four years in a university and you are still consider young to play in the MLS. In other countries it is very difficult, here with your college degree you have that option to be professional if football does not give you that opportunity. “Josema added.  “In 1989 I trained the my first team, I believe that in all ages football and education go hand in hand. The boys have to be told they can study and play. This world so global where communication is very important. Here players have a lot of resources, and if you do not want to study it is because you do not have it integrated. “Fabián said.

After many years separated by the different destinies and objectives that The Bazan brothers had traced, their working relationship does not affect in the absolute the brotherhood that exists between both.  “Our working relationship is very good, we discuss things like we do with the rest of the coaching staff, we know each other a lot even though we were separated for a long time. We are very close, the relationship is very good, “said Josema  “I think one of the things I like is that we think different, we do not think the same because we are brothers. We have our differences that may exist because mine is inclined to the physical aspect of the game. But as Josema says our decisions are the same. We respected our spaces. “Added Fabián.

Both Josema and Fabián had different dreams and goals when they arrived to the United States; their dreams and goals were achieved as described by Josema “I never dream of coming to the United States, I had a passion for soccer, we did not know anything about soccer in the United States, when I arrived here was at the end of my career, I saw something nice in this country to succeed, today without being my American dream to be a coach here in the United States, but from 96 to this day, I traced the objective, and I can say that today if I am achieving the dream or the goal that I set, from coaching in our youth academy to move the first team; and today I enjoy it. ” “My dream has always been soccer, we can develop here more calmly, and that makes it more easy, if the American dream is to be more successful, I think the US gives you that. The structure has a certain peace to develop the work. What we have is that we can coexist in a correct way. In other countries as a coach if you lose 5 games you go, our institution allows us keep working with our projects and vision, then if that is the American dream then yes. “Shared Fabian.

Nothing in this world is easy, especially if you are an immigrant. Although soccer is brought in the blood, and that is not simply a passion, to the extreme that can be even religion, dedication and persistence have been two very effective ingredients for the Bazan brothers.   “We know that in this country if you work with honesty and talent you can achieve many things. I have worked with many children, the intellectual level is very important, I advise the children not to stop studying, the intellectual part is very necessary when playing at Dallas FC, players can make better decisions, the parents are very important, before we were playing soccer in in the street, and we learned from older players, they were ones taught us how to play the game. Sometimes, we are not able to make important decisions, but if we sacrifice, make efforts, and persist; we can achieve our goals. Today, talent is not enough to be succesfull. You have to trained, rest, and eat well, it’s 33% for each topic. If I have to give advice, this would be. “Josema concluded.

“Persistence is essential, the great minds of the world that have changed certain things of humanity, is the product of trial and error. Continually say, tomorrow I will do better.
