Nuevos concejales juramentaron

Tulsa, OK – -Entraron oficialmente en funciones las nuevas concejales del gobierno municipal de Tulsa. 

La nueva composición establece seis nuevos lugares a mujeres y tres a hombres, algo nunca antes visto en esta ciudad. 

Los concejales que juramentaron al cargo representan los distritos tres, cuatro, cinco y siete asi como la auditora de la ciudad. Son Crista Patrick (District 3), Kara Joy McKee (District 4), Cass Fahler (District 5), and Lori Decter Wright (District 7). 

El tema de la apertura de trabajo del nuevo consejo municipal se denomina “Resident Tulsa” que busca acabar con la discriminación y la exclusión de minorías para que la ciudad sea un lugar en donde todos sus habitantes tengan las mismas oportunidades de desarrollo. (La Semana) 

 

New city councilors sworn in

Tulsa, OK – Tulsa’s new city councilors have officially taken office. 

The new council is comprised of six women and three men, something never before seen in this city. 

The councilors who were sworn in represent districts three, four, five and seven as well as the city auditor. They are Crista Patrick (District 3), Kara Joy McKee (District 4), Cass Fahler (District 5), and Lori Decter Wright (District 7). 

The theme of the opening of work of the new municipal council is called “Resident Tulsa” that seeks to end discrimination and exclusion of minorities so that the city is a place where all its inhabitants have the same opportunities for growth. (La Semana)
