The squad of the Comarca Lagunera won its first three points when they defeated the Chivas Rayadas del Guadalajara at home by scoring three goals to zero. Santos’s goals were scored by Brian Lozano at 40 ‘, Doria at 48’, and Julio Furch at 78 ‘.
The victory of Santos against Chivas puts Torreón in first place in the general standings, followed by América, Tigres, and León. While the Sacred Rebano sinks in the last place of the general.
Head Coach of Chivas Tomas Boy said “If there were specific errors, they are errors that affect the team and the morale, football is about mistakes and successes, which means that we are not ready either on the individual and collective level. The next match for Santos will be against Juárez while Chivas will face Atlético de Madrid, and Tigres.
