Oklahoma Caring Vans mobile clinics will be offering vaccines

TULSA, OK — Oklahoma Caring Vans mobile clinics will be serving children in various locations in the Tulsa metropolitan area.

The Oklahoma Caring Vans mobile clinic program offers all the vaccines that Oklahoma laws require to enroll in schools or daycare centers. These services are offered at no cost to children and adolescents between six weeks of age and 18 who are eligible; This includes children who are not insured, are eligible for Medicaid, or who are Native Americans.

Vaccines are administered in order of arrival. For each vaccinated child, a parent or guardian must submit immunization records and complete certain documents. The clinics will offer body mass index assessments to children and adolescents aged 2 to 18 years.

All children are required to be up to date with their vaccinations before enrolling in a daycare or school. To enroll in preschool or kindergarten programs, all children must submit their immunization records.
