They located a woman who gave burgers to Cristiano Ronaldo

Antes de convertirse en CR7, Cristiano Ronaldo era uno de los tantos niños que se hospedaba en la pensión del Sporting Lisboa soñaba con convertirse en una estrella. Por aquel entonces, no gozaba de las ventajas económicas con las que hoy cuenta, sino que tenía que rebuscárselas para poder comer fuera del club.

Según él mismo contó en una entrevista a la cadena de británica ITV, junto con algunos de sus compañeros visitaban un lugar de comidas rápidas mendigaban por una hamburguesa. “Tenía 12 años y no tenía dinero. Además vivía con otros jugadores de mi edad de otras partes de Portugal. Recuerdo que había un McDonald’s cerca de la pensión donde pedíamos las hamburguesas que sobraban y una señora llamada Edna y otras dos chicas siempre nos daban alguna”.

“Espero que esto me ayude a encontrarlas. Quiero invitarlas a cenar en Turín o Lisboa y devolverles lo que hicieron por mí. Nunca lo olvidé”, prometió el futbolista.

Este jueves, una de esas mujeres dialogó con la estación de radio portuguesa Renascenca y contó algunos detalles de aquel tiempo. “Aparecían frente al restaurante y cuando sobraban hamburguesas, nuestro gerente nos daría permiso para entregarlas. Uno de los muchachos era Cristiano Ronaldo, quien quizás era el más tímido de todos”.

Paula Leca reveló que esto sucedía “casi todas las noches cada semana” y que siempre se lo cuenta a familiares amigos, aunque algunos desconfían de su relato: “Todavía me río de todo eso ahora. Ya se lo había contado a mi hijo, pero pensaba que era una mentira porque no podía imaginar que su madre le diera una hamburguesa a Cristiano Ronaldo. Mi esposo ya lo sabía, porque a veces él me iba a buscar al trabajo por la noche y también lo veía”.

Con respecto a la promesa del jugador de la Juventus, Leca se entusiasmó: “Si me invitara a cenar, iría seguro. Lo primero que haría sería agradecerle y durante la comida tendríamos tiempo para recordar esos momentos”.

La ex empleada del local de comidas rápidas explicó que perdió contacto con su jefa, Edna, y sus antiguas compañeras, aunque se espera que en los próximos días las otras mujeres también salgan a la luz cuenten más detalles sobre Ronaldo.
