Eric Musselman con mejor manejo táctico le pega a Missouri 78-68

Arkansas finalmente vuelve a ganar en casa.

Con un  concierto de tiros de tres puntos, Arkansas logra finalmente ganar en casa. Eric Musselman logro manejar bien los últimos minutos del encuentro ante Missouri, y los Jabalís lograron derrotar a los Tigres por marcador de 78-68.

Para muchos el regreso de Isaiah Joe a la alineación titular fue la nota del día, pero como dirían en mi país; “una golondrina no hace verano.” Si bien los 21 puntos anotados por Joe contribuyeron a la victoria de Arkansas, en lo personal los que han sido consistentes en la ausencia de Joe han sido: Desi Sills, Jimmy Whitt Jr y Mason Jones. Estos en este partido ante Missouri contribuyeron 17, 14, y 12 puntos respectivamente.

La última vez que Arkansas había ganado en casa un juego de conferencia fue el 25 de Enero ante TCU.

En conferencia de prensa el director técnico de Arkansas, Eric Mussellman dijo “siempre hablo con los muchachos de la gran afición que tenemos, y les recuerdo que los 18mil aficionados que nos vienen a ver jugar, queremos que regresen. Nuestro equipo ha jugado juegos muy apretados como ante Florida, donde estábamos perdiendo por gran diferencia, nos acercamos en el marcador, luchamos hasta el final pero no logramos ganar. Mis muchachos no se rinden fácilmente, pero con todo esto dicho, también entiendo que este como los demás deportes se trata de victorias y derrotas.” Concluyo el timonel Jabalí.

Arkansas juega el próximo miércoles a las 7:30P.M ante los Voluntarios de Tennessee, el cual será su penúltimo juego de local.

Arkansas finally wins at home again

With a three-point shooting concert, Arkansas finally manages to win at home. Eric Musselman managed to handle the final minutes of the match against Missouri well, and the Razorbacks find a way to defeat the Tigers by a score of 78-68.

For many, Isaiah Joe’s return to the starting lineup was the story of the day, but as they would say in my country; “a Swallow doesn’t make summer.” While Joe’s 21 points contributed to Arkansas’ victory, personally the players that have been consistent in Joe’s absence have been Desi Sills, Jimmy Whitt Jr and Mason Jones. These players in the game against Missouri contributed 17, 14, and 12 points respectively.

The last time Arkansas had won a conference game at home was on January 25 against TCU.

At a press conference, Arkansas head coach Eric Mussellman said, “I always talk to the guys of the great fans we have, and I remind them that the 18 thousand fans who come to watch us play, we want them to come back. Our team has played very tight games; for example against Florida, where we were losing for big difference, we cut the lead, we fought to the end but we couldn’t win. Our boys don’t give up easily, but with all that said, I get it, its all about wins and losses.” Concluded Eric Musselman.
