Rescatan cuerpo de un niño en el río Verdigris / Child’s body found in Verdigris River, not identified yet

MUSKOGEE, Okla. – Las autoridades continúan buscando en las vías fluviales después de encontrar el cuerpo de un niño en el río Verdigris el martes por la noche.

Las autoridades del condado de Waggoner dicen que un oficial fuera de servicio que pescaba con su familia frente a la autopista 69 y la autopista de peaje en el área de Porter vieron el cuerpo e informaron alrededor de las 9 p.m.

Equipos de emergencia de los condados de Waggoner y Muskogee iniciaron la búsqueda en el río y encontraron el cuerpo durante la noche a las afueras del condado de Waggoner.

El cuerpo no ha sido identificado, pero la policía de Tulsa iba esta mañana (miércoles 27 de mayo) camino a Muskogee para ver si está relacionado con el reciente caso de un niño desaparecido.

Child’s body found in Verdigris River, not identified yet

MUSKOGEE, Okla. — Authorities are continuing to search waterways after finding a child’s body in the Verdigris River late Tuesday night.

Wagoner County authorities say an off duty deputy fishing with his family off Highway 69 and the turnpike in the Porter area saw the body and reported it around 9 p.m.

Emergency teams from Wagoner and Muskogee counties searched the river and found the body overnight just outside of Wagoner County.

The body hasn’t been identified but Tulsa police are going to Muskogee this morning to see if it’s related to the recent missing toddler case.
