Signature Symphony anuncia concierto al aire libre / Signature Symphony at TCC Announces Free Outdoor Concert July 3rd

Signature Symphony en Tulsa Community College continuará su 4ª edición anual en la 3ª tradición de conciertos de este año con un aspecto y sonido diferente debido al cuidado por el COVID-19. El concierto contará con el Quinteto Signature Brass y será al aire libre.

“Piense en esto como un concierto en el estacionamiento del VanTrease Performing Arts Center for Education. Estamos encantados de llevar música en vivo a nuestros amigos y vecinos, al mismo tiempo que diseñamos esta tipo de concierto pensando en la salud y la seguridad de nuestra comunidad como una prioridad”, dijo Joe Falvey, director de Signature Symphony en TCC.

El concierto al aire libre gratuito de 30 minutos será a las 8 p.m., el viernes 3 de julio, y estará frente a la entrada principal de VanTrease PACE en el campus TCC Southeast ubicado en 10300 East 81st Street. El concierto incluye favoritos como “The Star-Spangled Banner”, “America the Beautiful”, “St. Louis Blues “y” The Stars and Stripes Forever” interpretados por los miembros de Signature Quintet Benjamin Hay, trompeta; Jeff Loud, trompeta; Marsha Wilson, bocina; Brian Haapanen, trombón; y Brett Nichols, tuba.

Signature Symphony at TCC pide a todos los asistentes al concierto que sigan las pautas recomendadas de distanciamiento físico, que incluyen mantener al menos seis pies de distancia entre usted y otras personas que no son de su nucleo familiar y usar mascarillas cuando estén fuera de los vehículos.

Signature Symphony at TCC Announces Free Outdoor Concert July 3rd

TULSA, OK — Signature Symphony at Tulsa Community College will continue its annual 4th on the 3rd Concert tradition this year with a different look and sound due to COVID-19 concerns. The concert will feature the Signature Brass Quintet and be outdoors.

“Think of this as a drive-in concert on the parking lot of the VanTrease Performing Arts Center for Education. We are thrilled to bring live music to our friends and neighbors, while at the same time we designed this concert experience with the health and safety of our community as a priority,” said Joe Falvey, Signature Symphony at TCC manager.

The 30-minute, free, outdoor concert at 8 p.m., Friday, July 3, will be outside the front entrance of the VanTrease PACE on the TCC Southeast Campus located at 10300 East 81st Street. The concert includes favorites such as “The Star-Spangled Banner,” “America the Beautiful,” “St. Louis Blues,” and “The Stars and Stripes Forever” performed by Signature Quintet members Benjamin Hay, trumpet; Jeff Loud, trumpet; Marsha Wilson, horn; Brian Haapanen, trombone; and Brett Nichols, tuba.

“Bring your family and friends to listen from the comfort and safety of your car. You can listen through your car radio or download the free AudioFetch app for a truly modern concert experience,” said Kelly Clark, Dean of Visual and Performing Arts at TCC.

Plus, audience members can also choose to bring a lawn chair or blanket and enjoy the concert in the open air from one of the nearby lawns. The parking lot and lawns open at 7:30 p.m. and concert starts at 8 p.m.

Signature Symphony at TCC asks all concertgoers to follow recommended physical distancing guidelines which includes maintaining at least six feet apart between you and others outside your family unit and wearing face coverings when outside of vehicles.
