«The Batman» con Robert Pattinson marca el futuro de Warner Bros.

«The Batman», con Robert Pattinson debutando en la piel del superhéroe enmascarado, fue el plato fuerte de DC FanDome en el macroevento virtual que Warner Bros. organizó para concretar sus planes de futuro sobre las adaptaciones de las historias de DC Comics.

El director Matt Reeves anunció este sábado el «teaser» (primer avance) de esta esperadísima película sobre Batman que protagoniza Robert Pattinson liderando un elenco en el que también aparecen Zoë Kravitz, Paul Dano, Colin Farrell y Andy Serkis.

«Soy la venganza», dice Pattinson en uno de esos adelantos de turbias y violentas imágenes acompañadas por la canción «Something in the Way» de Nirvana.

En relación a la cinta Reeves aseguró que esta cinta no mostrará los orígenes del personaje, sino que tratará de reflejar a un Bruce Wayne ya como Batman «cometiendo errores, creciendo, cayendo y siendo un héroe» desde una perspectiva «humana».

El estreno del filme está previsto para el octubre de 2021.

Junto a este ambicioso proyecto Warner Bros. también dio algunos detalles de otras apuestas de peso en el mundo de los superhéroes, desde «Wonder Woman 1984» al nuevo montaje de «Justice League» pasando por el estreno de Dwayne Johnson como Black Adam. EFE

Director Matt Reeves was in charge of announcing the « teaser » (first trailer) for this highly anticipated Batman movie starring Robert Pattinson leading a cast that also includes Zoë Kravitz, Paul Dano, Colin Farrell and Andy Serkis.

« I’m revenge, » says Pattinson at one point in that first sneak peek of murky, violent images accompanied by Nirvana’s song « Something in the Way. »

Reeves showed his admiration for Pattinson: « He is an incredible actor. »

« He is like a chameleon (…). And he has the appearance of Batman, but above all he has the soul of someone who can play Batman in a way that we have not seen until now, » he added.

The filmmaker assured that this film, whose premiere is scheduled for October 2021, will not show the origins of the character but will try to reflect a Bruce Wayne already as Batman « making mistakes, growing up, falling down and being a hero » from a perspective « human ».

And he pointed out that for this film, in the form of a detective thriller, he has been inspired by classics from the 70s such as « Chinatown » (1974), « The French Connection » (1971) or « Taxi Driver » (1976).
