TULSA, OK – A pesar de los desafíos de COVID-19, Gathering Place se transformará una vez más en un Winter Wonderland, pero el evento de este año se enfocará en gran medida en la seguridad y el distanciamiento social. Winter Wonderland presentado por American Airlines se llevará a cabo todos los días desde el 18 de diciembre hasta el 3 de enero.

Este año, Winter Wonderland estará ubicado en y alrededor de ONEOK Boathouse y QuikTrip Great Lawn con zonas socialmente espaciadas. 2020 trae una nueva adición especial a Gathering Place, The North Pole. El ONEOK Boathouse se transformará en el Taller de Santa y exhibirá actuaciones musicales, villancicos en vivo y apariciones especiales de la princesa “Frozen” favorita de los niños en lo alto de su castillo.

Los visitantes pueden dejar sus cartas a Santa en el buzón especial del Polo Norte de Gathering Place ubicado fuera de Williams Lodge desde ahora hasta el 24 de diciembre.

Gathering Place Announces Winter Wonderland

TULSA, OK – Despite the challenges of COVID-19, Gathering Place will once again transform into a Winter Wonderland, but this year’s event will heavily focus on safety and social distancing. Winter Wonderland presented by American Airlines will run every day from December 18th until January 3rd.

This year, Winter Wonderland will be located at and around the ONEOK Boathouse and QuikTrip Great Lawn with socially spaced zones. Guests will walk along our pathways experiencing thousands of twinkling lights, strolling entertainment, and a holiday market with delicious food and seasonal gifts from local small business owners, all located in open, socially distanced areas of the Park.

“We are pleased to carefully bring back Winter Wonderland and provide Tulsans a variety of safe ways to celebrate the holiday season,” says Tony Moore, Executive Director of Gathering Place. “Thank you to our sponsors, American Airlines, which allow us to continue this Tulsa holiday tradition in a safe, socially-distanced manner.”

2020 brings a special new addition to Gathering Place, The North Pole. The ONEOK Boathouse will transform into Santa’s Workshop and will showcase musical performances, live carolers, and special appearances by children’s favorite “Frozen” Princess atop her castle.

Guests can drop off their letters to Santa at Gathering Place’s special North Pole mailbox located outside Williams Lodge now through December 24.

The park said the health and safety of Gathering Place guests and staff is its top priority and it will continue to closely follow the recommendations from the CDC and The City of Tulsa.
