TULSA – En un esfuerzo por llevar más vacunas a los habitantes de Tulsa, Kendall Whittier Main Street se ha asociado con Foster Corner Drug en Perry y St. Francis Xavier para traer el día 23 de abril una clínica de Pfizer al distrito.

La clínica se llevará a cabo de 3 a 7 p.m. el 23 de abril para quienes busquen una primera o segunda dosis o para quienes recibieron la primera vacuna Pfizer el 2 de abril o antes.

Al mismo tiempo, habrá una clínica de seguimiento tres semanas después, el 14 de mayo, para que los receptores reciban su segunda dosis. La clínica estará en el Centro de Actividades de Nuestra Señora de Guadalupe en la Iglesia St. Francis Xavier, 2515 E. 1st St. S. El Centro de Actividades es un edificio separado, ubicado en el lado noreste del complejo de la iglesia. Aquellos que busquen la vacuna pueden entrar por las puertas del lado oeste del centro y pueden estacionarse en el estacionamiento de Atlanta Avenue o Admiral Boulevard.

“Sabemos lo difícil que puede ser alejarse del trabajo durante el día o viajar largas distancias, por eso lo planeamos para un viernes de 3 a 7 p.m. – para asegurar que todos tengan la oportunidad de vacunarse y, con suerte, tener uno o dos días de descanso”, dijo Alison.

Las vacunas son gratuitas, sin embargo, las personas aseguradas deben traer una copia de su tarjeta de seguro. Las personas sin seguro pueden proporcionar un número de licencia de conducir, un número de identificación estatal o un número de seguro social, si es posible.

Quienes hayan recibido su primera dosis previamente deberán traer copia de su cartilla de vacunación.

Después de programar una cita, complete e imprima el formulario de consentimiento para una experiencia más rápida. Se dispondrá de formularios adicionales en la clínica de vacunas.

Kendall Whittier to host COVID-19 vaccine clinic

TULSA – In an effort to bring more vaccines to Tulsans, Kendall Whittier Main Street has partnered with Foster Corner Drug in Perry and St. Francis Xavier to bring a Pfizer clinic to the district on April 23.

The clinic will take place from 3-7 p.m. on April 23 for anyone looking for a first dose or for a second dose for those who received the first Pfizer vaccine on or before April 2.

A follow up clinic will be at the same time three weeks later, May 14, for recipients to receive their second dose. Those interested in receiving the vaccine are highly encouraged to make an appointment online at http://bit.ly/COVIDvaccineKW, but walk-ins will be welcome as well.

The clinic will be in the Our Lady of Guadalupe Activity Center at St. Francis Xavier Church, 2515 E. 1st St. S. The Activity Center is a separate building, located on the north east side of church complex. Those seeking the vaccine can enter through the doors on the west side of the Center and can park in either the parking lot off Atlanta Avenue or Admiral Boulevard.

Although many Tulsans have had the opportunity to take off work and drive hours away to receive the vaccine – and even take off work the following day if they feel unwell – not everyone has had that opportunity.

“We know how hard it can be to get away from work during the day or travel long distances, so that’s why we planned this one for a Friday 3-7 p.m. – to ensure that all have the opportunity to get vaccinated and, hopefully, have a day or two of rest after,” Alison said.

Vaccinations are free, however, insured individuals should bring a copy of their insurance card. Uninsured individuals can provide a drivers’ license number, a state identification number or a social security number, if possible.

Those who have received their first dose previously must bring a copy of their vaccination record card.

The idea came from the successful partnership Foster Corner Drug and East Tulsa Main Street, where nearly 200 people received a vaccine, Alison said.
