Juez niega la solicitud de Britney Spears

Un juez de Los Ángeles, California, denegó una solicitud para trasladar la audiencia de tutela de Britney Spears de septiembre a agosto.

El lunes,La jueza Brenda Penny denegó una solicitud hecha por el abogado de Spears, Mathew Rosengart, de trasladar una audiencia sobre la tutela de la estrella del 29 de septiembre al 23 de agosto. Según los documentos judiciales obtenidos por CNN, la jueza Penny no proporcionó una razón parasu fallo.

La petición fue denegada sin prejuicio, lo que significa que Rosengart puede volver a presentarla nuevamente en un futuro próximo.

La petición presentada por Rosengart la semana pasada buscaba remover al padre de Spears, James Spears, como conservadora de su patrimonio, lo antes posible. El fallo de la jueza Penny el lunes indica que el padre de Spears seguirá siendo el tutor del patrimonio de su hija por el momento.

En la petición que solicita una fecha de audiencia anterior, Rosengart escribió “Cada día que pasa es otro día de daño y prejuicio evitable para la Sra. Spears y la finca”.

Rosengart continuó en la petición, “La salud emocional y el bienestar de la Sra. Spears debe ser, y es, la principal preocupación. Además, todas las partes interesadas están de acuerdo en que la presencia continua del Sr. Spears como Conservador de la Propiedad es contraria a los mejores intereses, salud y bienestar de la Sra. Spears.y que su pronta remoción, o, al menos, su suspensión inmediata, es ‘crítica ‘ en este momento“.

Judge denies request for earlier court date to remove Britney Spears’ father as conservator

Britney Spears will have to wait longer for a ruling on her request to remove her father as conservator of her estate.

Judge Brenda Penny has denied a petition filed by Britney Spears’ attorney Mathew Rosengart to move a September 29 hearing in the case to August 23 in an effort to remove Jamie Spears as soon as possible as the conservator of his daughter’s estate, according to court documents obtained by CNN on Monday.

Judge Penny did not give a reason for her decision.
“Every day that passes is another day of avoidable harm and prejudice to Ms. Spears and the Estate,” last week’s petition filed by Rosengart stated. “Ms. Spears’s emotional health and well-being must be, and are, the paramount concern. Further, all interested parties forcefully agree that Mr. Spears’s continued presence as Conservator of the Estate is contrary to Ms. Spears’s best interests, health, and well-being, and that his prompt removal — or, at the very least, his immediate suspension — is ‘critical’ at this juncture.”

Rosengart had previously filed a petition to remove the elder Spears from his role as co-conservator and replace him with Jason Rubin, a CPA at Certified Strategies Inc. in Woodland Hills, California.

Speaking to the court last month, the singer said she wanted to press charges against her father for “conservatorship abuse” and called the arrangement “f***ing cruelty.”
