La cuarta temporada de Stranger Things se estrenará en 2022
Los seguidores de Stranger Things, una de las series más exitosas de Netflix, tendrán que esperar hasta 2022 para ver su cuarta temporada, casi tres años después del estreno de la tercera.
El rodaje de los nuevos episodios comenzó en febrero de 2020, pero tuvo que suspenderse al mes siguiente por la pandemia del coronavirus, aunque se retomó en septiembre de ese año, y este viernes Netflix lanzó un adelanto de 30 segundos de la nueva temporada.
En verano de 2019, Netflix aseguró que la tercera temporada de la serie Stranger Things batió el récord de audiencia de un estreno en su plataforma.
El gigante televisivo afirmó en su perfil oficial de Twitter que 40,7 millones de cuentas habían visto la tercera temporada de Stranger Things en apenas 4 días.
«Eso es más que cualquier otra película o serie (en Netflix) en sus primeros cuatro días», dijo la compañía, que en muy contadas veces hace públicos sus datos de audiencia y no están supervisados por ninguna agencia externa.
«Y 18,2 millones de cuentas ya han terminado de ver la temporada completa», añadió Netflix para defender que gran parte de los fans de Stranger Things devoraron los episodios uno tras otro en forma de maratón televisivo.

While today’s news fulfills director Shawn Levy’s promise from the Free Guy press tour that we would know more about Stranger Things before that video game movie is released, it doesn’t go far into spoiler territory but wait, who is that holding the flamethrower?
Maybe that’s for the best? There’s something to look forward to, albeit three years after the third season premiered. Season 3 set Netflix viewing records (at the time), as the streamer said more than 40 million accounts watched within four days of its release. If you can’t wait another five months or more to see how tall Will, Eleven, and the rest of the gang are now, Deadline reports that the teaser trailer will also air on NBC tonight during coverage of the Olympics.
