«Venom» regresa con fuerza y domina los estrenos en EEUU (VIDEO)

LOS ÁNGELES.- «Venom: Let There Be Carnage», la secuela de la exitosa «Venom» (2018), figura este fin de semana como el estreno más destacado de los cines de Estados Unidos, a los que también llegarán la cinta animada «The Addams Family 2» y la precuela de «The Sopranos».

Tom Hardy vuelve a interpretar a Venom, el famoso enemigo de Spider-Man, en esta película dirigida por el actor Andy Serkis, quien como realizador se ha ocupado de las cintas «Breathe» (2017) y «Mowgli: Legend of the Jungle» (2018).

También regresan la actriz Michelle Williams y el actor Woody Harrelson, que en «Venom» sólo apareció en una escena oculta en los créditos pero que en esta nueva película tiene un papel fundamental.

«Venom» obtuvo unas críticas penosas pero fue un gran éxito en taquilla al recaudar 856 millones de dólares en todo el mundo a partir de un presupuesto de 100 millones, según el portal Box Office Mojo.

Por su parte, la siniestra pero muy divertida familia Addams aterriza de nuevo en la gran pantalla con «The Addams Family 2», que es la continuación de «The Addams Family» (2019).

Los Addams emprenden unas locas y surrealistas vacaciones en esta película dirigida por Greg Tiernan y Conrad Vernon y que cuenta en su doblaje en inglés con las voces de Óscar Isaac, Charlize Theron y Chloë Grace Moretz.

«The Addams Family 2» también se podrá ver por «streaming» en los servicios de video bajo demanda.

Finalmente, «The Sopranos», una de las series más reconocidas y prestigiosas de la historia de la televisión, desembarca en los cines con la precuela «The Many Saints of Newark».

Esta película narra los orígenes de un joven Tony Soprano y está protagonizada por Michael Gandolfini, el hijo del fallecido y muy recordado James Gandolfini.
