Hombre de Broken Arrow condenado por pornografía infantil / Broken Arrow man convicted for child pornography

TULSA, OK – Un jurado federal declaró la semana pasada culpable a un hombre de Broken Arrow después de que se descubriera que sus dispositivos electrónicos contenían más de 4.000 imágenes y vídeos que mostraban la violación y el abuso sexual de niños, anunció el fiscal federal en funciones Clint Johnson.

Earl Hardy Morrow, de 39 años, fue condenado por distribución, recepción y posesión de pornografía infantil.

“Mi oficina y nuestros socios locales, estatales, tribales y federales en la aplicación de la ley buscan proteger a los niños no sólo de un abusador sexual, sino también de su revictimización a través de la visualización repetida de ese abuso en la pornografía infantil”, dijo el fiscal federal interino Clint Johnson. “Individuos como Earl Morrow deben rendir cuentas por su papel en una industria vil que se aprovecha de los niños en todo el mundo”.

El 20 de febrero de 2020, Morrow distribuyó y recibió pornografía infantil por medios electrónicos. Desde el 5 de noviembre de 2019 hasta el 27 de febrero de 2020, Morrow poseía además representaciones visuales que involucraban a menores prepúberes y menores de 12 años.

El 20 de febrero de 2020, se enviaron múltiples archivos de material de abuso sexual infantil a la unidad de delitos cibernéticos del departamento de policía de Tulsa a través de la red BitTorrent desde una dirección IP que luego fue rastreada hasta un usuario de Broken Arrow. El último archivo torrent distribuido a la policía de Tulsa contenía múltiples archivos de vídeo que mostraban abusos sexuales a menores.

Los agentes entregaron una orden de registro en la dirección donde residía Morrow el 27 de febrero de 2020. Durante el registro, Morrow dijo a los agentes que utilizaba BitTorrent en su ordenador y que tenía archivos ilegales en el mismo.

Durante la extracción y revisión forense de los dispositivos de Morrow, se encontraron los siguientes artículos en el dormitorio de Morrow y se transportaron al departamento de policía de Tulsa para su extracción y revisión forense:

– Unidad de memoria Thumb de 32 GB conectada a un llavero de las llaves del coche de Morrow, encontrada en el escritorio de su habitación– Se encontraron 3140 fotos y 25 vídeos de material de abuso sexual infantil.

– Ordenador construido por el acusado– 546 fotos y 85 vídeos de pornografía infantil, así como el programa qBittorrent.

– Ordenador portátil encontrado en el escritorio de Morrow: 39 fotos y 79 vídeos de pornografía infantil.

– Unidad de memoria de 32 GB encontrada en el escritorio de Morrow: 497 imágenes y 54 vídeos de pornografía infantil, incluye un documento RTF, titulado “Colección de papá”, cuyo autor es Morrow, y el contenido del documento enumera términos de búsqueda de pornografía infantil.

– Una unidad de memoria de 2 GB encontrada en el escritorio de Morrow: 5 vídeos de pornografía infantil.

El departamento de policía de Tulsa dirigió la investigación sobre Morrow con la ayuda de investigaciones de seguridad nacional.

Broken Arrow man convicted for child pornography

TULSA, OK – A federal jury last week found a Broken Arrow man guilty after his electronic devices were found to have more than 4,000 images and videos depicting the rape and molestation of children, announced Acting U.S. Attorney Clint Johnson.

Earl Hardy Morrow, 39, was convicted of distribution and receipt of child pornography and possession of child pornography.

“My office and our local, state, tribal, and federal law enforcement partners seek to protect children not only from their sexual abuser, but also from their revictimization through the repeated viewing of that abuse in child pornography,” said Acting U.S. Attorney Clint Johnson. “Individuals like Earl Morrow must be held accountable for their role in a vile industry that preys on children across the globe.”

On Feb. 20, 2020, Morrow distributed and received child pornography via electronic means. From Nov. 5, 2019, to Feb. 27, 2020, Morrow further possessed visual depictions involving prepubescent minors and minors who were under 12 years of age.

On Feb. 20, 2020, multiple files of child sexual abuse material were sent to the Tulsa Police Department’s Cyber Crimes Unit via the BitTorrent network from an IP address that was later tracked to a Broken Arrow user. The final torrent file distributed to Tulsa Police contained multiple video files depicting the sexual abuse of children.

Officers served a search warrant on the address where Morrow resided on Feb. 27, 2020. During the search, Morrow told officers that he used BitTorrent on his computer and that he had illegal files on the computer.

During the forensic extraction and review of Morrow’s devices, the following items were found in Morrow’s bedroom and transported to the Tulsa Police Department for forensic extraction and review:

– 32GB Thumb drive connected to a keychain on Morrow’s car keys, found on the desk in his room–3140 pictures and 25 videos of child sexual abuse material found.

– Computer built by the defendant– 546 pictures and 85 videos of child pornography, as well as the qBittorrent program.

– Laptop found on Morrow’s desk- 39 pictures and 79 videos of child pornography.

– 32 GB thumb drive found on Morrow’s desk– 497 pictures and 54 videos of child pornography, includes 1 RTF document, titled “Daddy’s Collection,” where the author is Morrow, and the contents of the document lists child pornography search terms.

– 2 GB thumb drive found on Morrow’s desk– 5 videos of child pornography.

The Tulsa Police Department led the investigation into Morrow with assistance from Homeland Security Investigations.
