Quinta temporada de “La casa de papel” será su final definitivo

MADRID.-No habrá sorpresas y la serie “La casa de papel” terminará definitivamente con la quinta temporada, que estrena mundialmente el próximo viernes en Netflix sus cinco últimos episodios, aunque la puerta a la creación de productos relacionados está abierta, confirmaron este martes sus creadores.

“Si vamos a tener algo después de ‘La casa’, inspirado en ‘La casa’, es algo que estamos pensando, pero que ahora mismo está en el aire y estamos dándole vueltas”, dijo el creador Álex Pina en una conferencia de prensa en Madrid.

“El final de ‘La casa de papel’ es el final de ‘La casa de papel’, no se deja la puerta abierta, con esto culmina la historia, más allá de otro tipo de proyectos alternativos”, indicó por su parte el director de la ficción española más exitosa de la historia, Jesús Colmenar.

Poco se sabe de los cinco últimos capítulos, más allá de que serán un homenaje a todo lo vivido. Reina el máximo secretismo hasta el punto de que Netflix no ha avanzado ningún episodio a la prensa, ni siquiera bajo embargo, como suele ser habitual.

Solo se sabe lo que han adelantado desde la plataforma, que arranca justo después de la muerte de Tokio (Úrsula Corberó), con el Ejército dentro del Banco de España y la banda en sus horas más oscuras, con el reto de sacar el oro y salir con vida.

“En la primera parte (que se estrenó el 3 de septiembre) reinaba la épica de la acción de la guerra y en esta segunda manejamos otro tipo de épica, la emocional. Es la composición de un puzle que finalmente se termina por cerrar. Hasta el último no terminas de cerrar todo el viaje y de entender lo que ha sido la serie en su conjunto”, explicó Colmenar.

El final de «La casa de papel» será un cierre con el que termina “un viaje muy largo, rocambolesco, lleno de aventura y de emocionalidad” que también han vivido profundamente los creadores, como señaló Esther Martínez Lobato.

“Emocionalmente los escritores necesitábamos cerrar con mucho sentimiento este viaje. Y en esta última parte está una narrativa más emocional porque nos estábamos despidiendo de ellos. Hay muchos guiños a la propia narrativa interna de la serie, a los orígenes”, comentó.

The actor’s favourite character is the man with a plan. El Professor – for those who didn’t get the refence. “My favourite character from Money Heist is The Professor because he is the ultimate mastermind. He is calm, collected and always plans ahead. He is strategic. Even though he is leading a heist, you can’t help but love him and his intellect and his moral principles towards his team and people in general. His forward thinking approach and getting the team to stick to the plan is on point.”

How about his favourite scene you ask? Ayushmann Khurrana offers a vivid description. “My favourite scene is from Season 5 Volume 1, where Berlin trains his son how to execute a heist and they steal together. That was the most exciting scene to watch and kept me on the edge of my seat. Who thought one could heist with so much style and swag.” We hear you, Ayushmann.

Time and again, The Professor and his team have tried to save one of their own. Sometimes they succeeded, other times, cue sad music. When asked, which death in the show affected him the most, the actor said, “I think both Tokyo and Nairobi deaths were hard to watch. They are great characters and were gone too soon. If I could bring back one character, it would be Tokyo as she is also narrating the show and it just doesn’t feel the same without her. She is brave and fearless. Her energy will be missed in the finale.”
