MÉXICO – Los tres deseos de López Obrador para un 2022 “con fe en el porvenir” / “it will be an even better year”

El presidente mexicano afirmó que el 2021 fue un año bueno para México, por lo que aseguró que el 2022 “será todavía más bueno”

El 2021 está a unos días de llegar a su final, y con ello arranca la segunda mitad de la administración del presidente, Andrés Manuel López Obrador (AMLO).

En ese tenor – y ante un panorama incierto para el rumbo del país por el avance de la pandemia del COVID-19, azote de la violencia y las ácidas controversias en el ámbito político – el mandatario compartió sus tres ambiciosos deseos para el año nuevo 2022.

Por supuesto, el primero de éstos refirió a la contingencia sanitaria por el nuevo coronavirus, que ha vuelto a fortalecer su protagonismo mundial con la expansión de su variante Ómicron.

A pesar de ello, López Obrador aún anhela que sea el próximo año el último en el que el coronavirus continúe afectando la salud tanto de las y los mexicanos, como de las demás naciones en el mundo.

“Un deseo es que se termine la pandemia; que ya no se siga padeciendo, sufriendo por esta pandemia. Que no se sigan enfermando; que no se sigan hospitalizando; que no sigan perdiendo la vida y falleciendo seres humanos, mexicanos y de otros países del mundo”.

El segundo señaló el fortalecimiento de la cultura de México, que, afirmó, “es lo que siempre nos ha salvado ante calamidades”.

“Que no olvidemos de dónde venimos, que somos herederos de grandes civilizaciones y que eso es lo que nos da fortaleza e identidad. Que no la neguemos de nuestro origen. El que no sabe o no se siente orgulloso de dónde viene, nunca sabrá hacia dónde irá o dónde se dirigirá”, aseveró durante su conferencia matutina.

Cabe recordar que a lo largo del 2021 varios elementos y eventos del Gobierno Federal giraron entorno a las raíces prehispánicas del país, especialmente con la conmemoración por los 500 años de la resistencia indígena México-Tenochtitlán. De ahí el interés del tabasqueño por refrendar en la memoria mexicana aquella cultura milenaria.

Por último, el tercer anhelo – aún más ambicioso que los dos anteriores – “es que haya menos pobres”, es decir que las y los mexicanos no solo no padezcan de falta de alimentos, tampoco de salud, vivienda, educación y otras necesidades básicas.

“Y lo tercero que deseo es que haya menos pobres. Que no falten los satisfactores básicos (…) Desde luego el trabajo, el ingreso que alcance para lo indispensable y necesario”, agregó.

Finalmente, el Jefe del Ejecutivo emitió un último deseo, que ha reiterado en diversas ocasiones tanto festivas, como cotidianas: procurar felicidad de la ciudadanía, entendiéndose como felicidad el “estar bien con uno mismo, estar bien con nuestra consciencia y estar bien con el prójimo”.

“Este año nos fue mejor, ese es mi balance, que el año pasado. Y el que viene va a ser un año todavía más bueno. Tengo fe en el porvenir y no hay que perder la esperanza”.

The third thing I want is that there are fewer poor people, that there is no shortage of basic satisfactions: food, that no one suffers from hunger and that they have for study, for health, for housing, of course work, the income they reach. for the indispensable, the necessary, the basic ”, he added.

The head of the federal Executive pointed out that 2022 will be an even better year for all Mexicans and expressed his hope for the future of the country.

“May we all be happy thinking that happiness is not only accumulating material goods: money, fame, titles, happiness is being good with oneself, being good with our conscience and being good with others,” he declared.

This year was better for us, that is my balance than last, and next year will be an even better year, I have faith in the future and we must not lose hope, “he said.

Finally, President López Obrador announced that he will spend the New Year’s holiday at his farm located in Palenque, in the state of Chiapas, this weekend.
