Kate del Castillo habló sobre La Reina del Sur: “Es la serie más ambiciosa de toda Latinoamérica”

La actriz comentó que ya está bien de COVID-19 y solo tuvo malestares

Teresa Mendoza inicia el 2022 con todo, pues La Reina del Sur, segunda temporada ya está disponible para que la puedas ver.

Con emoción, la actriz Kate del Castillo compartió con Infobae la noticia y también comentó cómo se siente después de contagiarse de COVID-19, ya que en días anteriores se supo que había dado positivo.

“Ya di negativo. Yo me siento super bien, gracias a dios no me pegó nada fuerte, fue simplemente un dolor en la garganta, de tos y un poco de dolor de cabeza durante dos días, pero realmente nada fuerte”, confesó la actriz.

Ante esta segunda temporada, Kate del Castillo nos dijo las sorpresas con la que los espectadores van a ver en estos nuevos capítulos, por lo cual comentó que hay una producción muy buena.

“Esta segunda temporada viene durísima, viene ya con unos valores de producción muy importantes, con lugares increíbles que van a ver como Rusia, España, Italia. Vas a ver una serie enorme donde no teníamos covid, entonces era mucho más fácil y una Teresa Mendoza que estuvo, vamos a decir, estos nueve o diez años reales que estuvimos fuera, que no hubo otra temporada, y el personaje ya tiene una hija de cierta edad y que es para lo único que vive Teresa”.

El regreso del personaje de Teresa hace que muchos de los televidentes quieran ver qué es lo que sigue en la serie, a lo cual la actriz dijo que “van a pasar muchas cosas que van a poner a ella a trabajar y a hacer cosas que ella ya no quería y que ya estaba fuera de eso para recuperar a su hija”.

Una parte del éxito que tiene La Reina del Sur es que cuenta con grandes actores y tiene una trama que a muchos les ha interesado, pero Kate del Castillo recordó el por qué aceptó esta serie.

“Para mí, lo más importante es la historia, pero también hay mucha acción, ya se convirtió en un thriller de acción porque eso es lo que es. Para la gente que le gusta la acción pues lo van a tener en cada capítulo, porque es increíble cada capítulo. Es la serie más ambiciosa de toda Latinoamérica y más grande, así que no se van a decepcionar en ese sentido”, reforzó.

“Fue muy divertido para mí hacer un montón de cosas de acción, me encanta la acción y nos divertimos mucho. Se suman nuevos personajes. Unos murieron, pero siguen estando ahí, todo el gang de Teresa Mendoza sigue estando ahí, así es que va a ser un rencuentro super padre”.

Algo que se puede presenciar en esta segunda temporada que se estrena en Telemundo, es la producción y todo el esfuerzo que hizo el equipo de producción para seguir adelante con la historia de Teresa Mendoza, por eso la actriz reconoció que la serie creció mucho.

“Hay un par de personas ahí en la producción que estuvieron desde la primera temporada, incluso ahora que grabé la tercera temporada, también hay gente que estuvo desde la primera entonces es padrísimo ver cómo creció Telemundo y ver ahora que los valores de producción son gigantes, sin duda es otra era para Telemundo y para la Reina del Sur, estar en una producción tan grande”.

Y esta historia no hubiera sido posible sin la obra del escritor Arturo Pérez-Reverte que en el 2002 se publicó el libro de esta serie. Por el cual se le preguntó a Kate del Castillo cómo es su relación con el autor.

“Yo fui a España antes de empezar la segunda temporada, con Marcos Santana que es nuestro ´ShowRunner´, porque él, de repente imagínate, que Arturo Pérez Reverte nos estuvo ´pichando´ a mí, a él a otros ejecutivos y al entonces escritor Roberto Stopello. Nos estaba pichando la serie. La segunda temporada, la estructura y todo eso”.

“Yo tengo buena comunicación con él, es un encanto de señor, que admiro y respeto muchísimo y que él también hacía mí por lo que sé que a dicho y por el cariño que me tiene”, confesó.

En la televisión y en estas temporadas vamos a ver a una Teresa Mendoza en muchas escenas de acción, y aquí es en dónde Kate del Castillo nos contó qué es lo que hace para separarse de su papel y su vida.

“Yo soy una actriz bien práctica: cuando dicen acción, es acción. Cuando dicen corte, corte. Me voy a mi casa después del corte, como soy yo. Nunca me ha afectado y sé dejar mi personaje en donde lo tengo que dejar, no lo llevo jamás a mi casa. Pero lo que si, es que necesito una diciplina importante y un entrenamiento importante para poder hacer todas las escenas que hay ahí y hacer un poquito de todo. No soy experta en nada, pero por lo menos le hago a la ´jalada´ para que se vea como que sí sé”.

“También tengo un equipo increíble que te hacen ver super bien de gente preparada, que son los ´stones´, que te ayudan para ser todo y para que veas que eres experta”, mencionó.

En muchas producciones de diversas televisoras y “streamings” tuvieron problemas en grabar por la pandemia que se vive mundialmente y La Reina del Sur tuvo suerte que no tuviera casos extremos de coronavirus.

“En esta tercera es un milagro lo que hicimos porque fuimos a montones de lugares en toda Latinoamérica y nunca pasó nada que tuviéramos que modificar realmente las grabaciones de la serie”.

“A la gente que le dio covid era gente externa, me refiero a la gente de producción, y fue solamente un solo actor que tuvo por ahí, pero pudieron manipular muy bien las escenas para que no fuera a grabar él en esa semana, así que no nos afectó realmente tanto”, aceptó la actriz.
