Un sismo de 5.7 se registró en el sureste de Veracruz, lo que generó que se activara la alerta sísmica en diversas alcaldías de la Ciudad de México
La alerta sísmica sorprendió a los habitantes del Valle de México este jueves 3 de marzo alrededor de las 8:40 de la mañana. De acuerdo al reporte oficial del Servicio Sismológico Nacional (SSN), se registró un sismo de magnitud 5.7 grados, con epcientro en Veracruz.
En un primer momento, el reporte preliminar señalaba que se trataba de un sismo de magnitud 6.2. Este movimiento telúrico se dio a 2 kilómetros al sureste de la Isla Veracruz, a una profundidad de 10 kilómetros.
Hasta el momento no se reportan daños materiales en la Ciudad de México, Estado de México y en la entidad donde se originó el sismo. Este es el segundo movimiento telúrico de la semana que se registra en México, ya que el pasado 1 de marzo se reportó un sismo de magnitud 5.2 que tuvo su origen en San Pedro Pochutla, Oaxaca.
En tanto, el presidente Andrés Manuel López Obrador (AMLO) informó en su conferencia matutina que hasta el momento no se reportaron daños materiales en Oaxaca y Veracruz.
Por su parte, usuarios en redes sociales comentaron que el movimiento telúrico se sinto bastante intenso en el estado donde se originó. “Se sintió muy fuerte acá en el estado de Veracruz”, comentaba en Twitter el usuario @sergioagl12. Más personas en la misma red se pronunciaron en ese mismo sentido, coincidiendo en que en ese estado se sintió muy fuerte. Orizaba, Córdoba y la Isla son algunas de las zonas de las que se tiene reporte sobre la manera en que se sintió el temblor.
La jefa de Gobierno, Claudia Sheinbaum, informó que no se registró ningún daño en la CDMX hasta el momento, mientras diversos edificios fueron evacuados de acuerdo a los protocolos de seguridad de Protección Civil (PC). De igual manera, señaló que cinco Cóndores de la Secretaría de Seguridad Ciudadana (SSC) se encuentran sobrevolando la capital para evaluar la situación.
Asimismo, Sheinbaum Pardo dio a conocer que el Sistema de Transporte Colectivo Metro también se reincorporó a sus actividades tras el temblor. De igual manera, el Aeropuerto Internacional de la Ciudad de México (AICM) informó que se activaron los protocolos de revisión y seguridad de infraestructura aeroportuaria, en los que no se reportaron ninguna afectación.
El Instituto Mexicano del Seguro Social (IMSS) también activó los protocolos de PC y se llevó a cabo la evacuación de instalaciones administrativas y algunas áreas de consulta externa. Tras la revisión de la infraestructura, no se reportaron daños. En tanto, Zoé Robledo, director general del IMSS, informó que se encontraba en el Centro Virtual de Operaciones en Emergencias y Desastres (CVOED) para supervisar el estado de las unidades médicas del Instituto en todo el país.
Robledo señaló que en las oficinas centrales se evacueron a más de 700 personas en tres minutos. Hasta el momento, no se reporta ningún daño en las unidades de Veracruz, Guerrero y Oaxaca.
Según las autoridades de Gestión Integral de Riesgos y Protección Civil de las Alcaldías de la CDMX, no se registró niguna afectación, por lo que los servicios urbanos y de transporte en la ciudad operan con normalidad, los cuales incluyen la Red de Movilidad Integrada: metro, metrobús, cablebus, RTP y ecobici. Todoas las unidades de transporte restablecieron su servicios, informó la Secretaría de Movilidad (Semovi) de la CDMX.
De acuerdo al monitoreo realizado por el Centro Nacional de Comunicación y Operación (CENACOM), el sismo se registró en los estados de Oaxaca, Veracruz, Puebla, Morelos y Tlaxcala.
En el Estado de México se realizaron evacuaciones preventivas visualizadas desde el Centro de Comando, Control, Cómputo, Comunicaciones y Contacto Ciudadano (C5) de Toluca. Fernado Vilchis, presidente municipal de Ecatepec, dio a conocer que el helicóptero “Jaguar 1″ sobrevuela el municipio para verificar si se presentó algún daño en el territorio mexiquense.
Por otro lado, según el boletín del Centro de Alerta de Tsunamis de la Secretaría de Marina (Semar), no se esperan variaciones del nivel del mar debido a la ubicación del epicentro.

The head of government, Claudia Sheinbaum, reported that no damage has been recorded in CDMX so far, while various buildings were evacuated according to Civil Protection (PC) security protocols.. Similarly, he pointed out that five Condors from the Secretariat of Citizen Security (SSC) are flying over the capital to assess the situation.
Likewise, Sheinbaum Pardo announced that the Metro Collective Transportation System also returned to its activities after the tremor. Similarly, the Mexico City International Airport (AICM) reported that the airport infrastructure review and security protocols were activated, in which no affectation was reported.
The Mexican Institute of Social Security (IMSS) also activated PC protocols and the evacuation of administrative facilities and some outpatient areas was carried out. While, Zoé Robledo, general director of the IMSS, reported that she was in the Virtual Center for Operations in Emergencies and Disasters (CVOED) to supervise the status of the Institute’s medical units throughout the country.
