TULSA: Amnistía para multas de estacionamiento / Municipal parking and traffic amnesty is this June

Tulsa, OK – El tribunal municipal de Tulsa ofrecerá dos sesiones de amnistía para personas que tengan multas de tránsito y multas de estacionamiento sin pagar.

Las sesiones de amnistía se alinean con la estrategia Resilient Tulsa, la cual ayuda a los residentes de Tulsa con recursos para combatir barreras y alcanzar el éxito.

Amnistía para multas de estacionamiento, 6 – 10 de junio de 2022

La primera sesión de amnistía se ofrecerá para personas que tengan multas de estacionamiento sin pagar. Actualmente, hay 82,000 multas de estacionamiento pendientes en Tulsa.

Durante el periodo de amnistía para multas de estacionamiento, el propietario del vehículo o el conductor podrá pagar la multa de estacionamiento preestablecida sin cargos por pagos atrasados ni cargos por una orden de arresto. Los pagos se pueden hacer en persona en el ayuntamiento o en la corte municipal. Si no puede pagar al contado, puede pedir al juez de configurar un plan de pago. Se requiere una tarjeta de identificación para hacer el pago.

Para solicitar una cita con el juez, puede visitar las oficinas de registros judiciales del tribunal municipal, en la sala 228, entre las 8 y 10 a.m. de lunes a viernes. Esto le dará la oportunidad de ponerse en la lista de casos y establecer un plan de pago.

Amnistía para multas de tránsito, 13 – 17 de junio de 2022

La segunda sesión de amnistía se llevará a cabo para personas que tengan multas de tránsito sin pagar. La Ciudad actualmente tiene 108,000 infracciones de tránsito con estatus de orden de arresto por falta de pago.

Durante este periodo de amnistía, se permitirá el pago completo de las multas, sin cargos por pagos atrasados ni cargos por una orden de arresto, a un cajero. Si no puede pagar las multas al contado, puede pedir al juez de configurar un plan de pago. Un juez estará disponible en el tribunal municipal de 8 a 11 a.m. y 1 a 4 p.m. durante la semana de amnistía.

Si recibió una multa de conducir por no tener seguro de auto o seguro vencido, no tener licencia de conducir o licencia vencida o por no tener placa o una placa vencida, debe comprobar que tiene documentación vigente para poder desestimar la multa a bajo costo o sin costo. Si un juez ha evaluado una multa y el acusado no pagó la multa, deberá ver a un juez.

Puede pagar en persona en los dos sitios nombrados aquí abajo. Si necesita ver a un juez, debe hacerlo en el tribunal municipal en 600 Civic Center.

Si no puede pagar las multas, puede comunicarse con el Centro de Empoderamiento Financiero (Financial Empowerment Center, por sus siglas en inglés) para recibir asesoría financiera sin costo que ofrece la Ciudad de Tulsa y Goodwill Industries of Tulsa. Municipal parking and traffic amnesty is this June

TULSA, OK — Tulsa Municipal Court is providing two amnesty sessions for citizens who have outstanding citations for parking and traffic violations.

Parking Amnesty, June 6 – June 10, 2022

The first amnesty session will be limited to parking tickets. Currently, the City has 82,000  unpaid parking citations.

During the parking amnesty period, the vehicle owner or driver will be allowed to pay the preset parking fine at Tulsa City Hall or Tulsa Municipal Court without late fees or warrant fees. If unable to pay citation(s) in full, a request can be made to see a judge to setup a payment plan; identification is needed.

Individuals can request to see a judge by visiting the Municipal Courts Office, Court Records, Room 228, between 8-10 a.m. daily, which will grant individuals the opportunity to get added to a docket to setup a payment plan.

Moving Violation Amnesty, June 13 – June 17, 2022

The second amnesty session will be limited to traffic and non-parking violations. The City currently has 108,000 citations in warrant status.

During this amnesty period, individuals will be allowed to pay their citations in full without any late fees or warrant fees directly with a cashier. If unable to pay fines in full, individuals can see a Judge to set up a payment plan. A dedicated judge will be available at Municipal Court from 8-11 a.m. and 1-4 p.m. during this amnesty week.

If an individual received a citation for no/expired driver’s license, no/expired tag, or no/expired insurance, they should bring proof of current, active status to be considered for a low-or-no cost dismissal. If a fine was assessed by a judge and an individual failed to pay the fine, they will need to see a judge.

You can pay in person at the two below locations. If you need to see a judge, that must be done in Municipal Court at 600 Civic Center.

For those who cannot afford to pay citations, they can reach out to the Financial Empowerment Center. This no cost, one-on-one financial counseling is provided by the City of Tulsa and Goodwill Industries of Tulsa to anyone, regardless of income. Call (918) 802-7279 to set up an appointment.
