Ex oficial de transporte acusado de agresión sexual y mentir al FBI / Former Private Prisoner Transport Officer Indicted for Sexual Assault and Lying to the FBI

TULSA, Oklahoma – Se ha abierto un acta de acusación federal en la que se señala a un antiguo funcionario de transporte privado de presos de agredir sexualmente a un hombre en prisión preventiva durante un traslado y de mentir posteriormente al FBI.

Según la acusación, en el momento del presunto delito, Dewayne Dudley, de 55 años y residente en Claremore (Oklahoma), trabajaba como agente de transporte privado de presos para Blue Raven Services, una empresa que era contratada por cárceles y prisiones locales de todo el país para transportar a personas que habían sido detenidas en virtud de órdenes de detención de otros estados y que necesitaban ser transportadas de vuelta a los estados que habían emitido las órdenes.

En el primer cargo de la acusación se acusa a Dudley de privar deliberadamente de su derecho constitucional a la integridad física a un hombre en prisión preventiva que transportaba de Indiana a Nuevo México. La acusación alega que la conducta de Dudley provocó lesiones corporales a la víctima y un secuestro. El segundo cargo acusa a Dudley de hacer, a sabiendas y deliberadamente, declaraciones falsas a un agente especial del FBI en relación con el transporte de la víctima.

Si es declarado culpable, Dudley se enfrenta a una sentencia máxima de cadena perpetua.

La fiscal general adjunta Kristen Clarke, de la división de derechos civiles del departamento de justicia, y el fiscal federal Clinton Johnson, del distrito norte de Oklahoma, hicieron el anuncio.

Former Private Prisoner Transport Officer Indicted for Sexual Assault and Lying to the FBI

TULSA, OK — A federal indictment has been unsealed in Tulsa, Oklahoma, charging a former private prisoner trapsport officer with sexually assaulting a male pretrial detainee during a prisoner transport and later lying to the FBI.

According to the indictment, at the time of the alleged crime, Dewayne Dudley, 55, of Claremore, Oklahoma, worked as a private prisoner transport officer for Blue Raven Services, a company that was hired by local jails and prisons throughout the country to transport people who had been arrested pursuant to out-of-state warrants and needed to be transported back to the states that had issued the warrants.

Count One of the indictment charges Dudley, while acting under color of law, with willfully depriving a male pretrial detainee whom he was transporting from Indiana to New Mexico, of his constitutional right to bodily integrity. The indictment alleges that Dudley’s conduct resulted in bodily injury to the victim and kidnapping. Count Two charges Dudley with knowingly and willfully making false statements to a Special Agent with the FBI regarding his transport of the victim.

If convicted, Dudley faces a maximum sentence of life in prison.

Assistant Attorney General Kristen Clarke of the Justice Department’s Civil Rights Division and U.S. Attorney Clinton Johnson for the Northern District of Oklahoma made the announcement.

The case is being investigated by the FBI Oklahoma City Field Office. Assistant U.S. Attorney Clay Compton for the Northern District of Oklahoma and Trial Attorney Laura Gilson of the Civil Rights Division are prosecuting the case.
