Marcha imperial de «Star Wars» llega a la capital de México
La marcha imperial de la película “Star Wars” llegó a la capital mexicana este sábado e inundó las calles de personajes emblemáticos de esta saga como Darth Vader, Luke Skywalker, las princesas Leia y Padme, e incluso R2-D2, C-3PO y Chewbacca.
La caminata por la avenida Paseo de la Reforma, una de las principales de la Ciudad de México, se llevó a cabo como parte del “Training Day 2022”, un desfile organizado por la “501st Legion Mexican Garrison”, el grupo de fans más grande del mundo de «Star Wars».
La ruta que siguió a los asistentes a este desfile inició en el monumento conocido como el Ángel de la Independencia, pasando por la Glorieta del Ahuehuete por toda la avenida Reforma y hasta el “Monumento de la Revolución”, al centro de la capital mexicana.
Entre los personajes que desfilaron por las calles de la Ciudad de México se podrán distinguir distintas épocas de la saga, desde las primeras películas, donde los protagonistas peleaban contra el imperio galáctico de Darth Vader, hasta la segunda trilogía, donde Luke se entera de que Darth Vader es su padre.

“Star Wars” arrives in the capital of Mexico and floods its streets
Mexico City, Oct 15. The imperial march from the movie “Star Wars” arrived in the Mexican capital this Saturday and flooded the streets with emblematic characters from this saga such as Darth Vader, Luke Skywalker, princesses Leia and Padme, and even R2-D2, C-3PO and Chewbacca.
The walk along Paseo de la Reforma avenue, one of the main avenues in Mexico City, was carried out as part of “Training Day 2022”, a parade organized by the “501st Legion Mexican Garrison”, the group of fans more world of “Star Wars”.
The route followed by those attending this parade began at the monument known as the Angel of Independence, passing through the Glorieta del Ahuehuete along Reforma Avenue and up to the “Monument of the Revolution”, in the center of the Mexican capital.
Among the characters that paraded through the streets of Mexico City, different periods of the saga could be distinguished, from the first films, where the protagonists fought against Darth Vader’s galactic empire, to the second trilogy, where Luke finds out that Darth Vader is his father.
The parade was also attended by thousands of Mexicans of all ages, who came to take photos and observe the costumes of the characters, while others also came dressed up or with laser swords in hand, just like Jedi.
Meanwhile, there were also merchants who took advantage of the mass of people to sell items alluding to the famous “Star Wars” movie, among the most found “baby Yodas” products.
In the march of the galaxies, characters from the first trilogy such as Han Solo, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Darth Sidious and even Yoda could be seen, passing through the second trilogy of Padme, Anakin Skywalker, and even from the most recent series and movies such as Rey Skywalker, Kylo Ren, Boba Fett and others.
Characters such as the elements of the different troops and rebel leaders throughout the history of this saga, Darth Maul, Grogu, better known in Mexico as “Baby Yoda”, Din Djarin, and more were also present. EFE
