Twitter está desarrollando un nuevo botón en el apartado de Menciones, que permitirá a los usuarios activarlas o desactivarlas. También podrán elegir quién les puede etiquetar en las publicaciones en caso de habilitarlas.

La compañía anunció en abril que puso en marcha Unmentioning, una característica que entonces estaba en fase de pruebas y permitía desetiquetarse de los tuits y bloquear menciones.

Fue en julio cuando la compañía introdujo este botón en todas las cuentas de Twitter e indicó que estaría disponible para todos los dispositivos.

La experta en ingeniería inversa Jane Manchun Wong descubrió ahora que Twitter está probando una función con la que los usuarios podrán controlar sus menciones. Se decidirá si se les puede etiquetar o no en las publicaciones y quién puede hacerlo.
