Christina Aguilera y Karol G cantarán en el Festival de Viña del Mar

En Chile se confirmó que Karol G y Christina Aguilera se presentarán en el Festival de Viña del Mar 2023. El evento se desarrollará entre el 19 y el 24 de febrero después de dos años de ausencia por la pandemia.

El Festival de Viña del Mar está considerado como uno de los encuentros musicales más importantes del continente americano, y su origen se remonta a febrero de 1960. Es el evento de habla hispana más longevo y relevante del mundo.

Macarena Ripamonti, alcaldesa de Viña del Mar, anunció que la artista que abrirá el certamen será Karol G, quien realizará su show el 19 de febrero.

La autoridad dijo que Karol G llega al festival con un gran nivel de calidad artística. “En la Quinta Vergara pocas veces se ha visto que un artista latinoamericana con el nivel de ventas que tiene y que es inspiradora para muchas niñas, adolescentes, mujeres, por su historia, por su carrera y además con un talento impresionante, haya venido en el peak de su carrera”.

Otro plato fuerte que se sumará al festival es Christina Aguilera, una cantante, actriz y modelo estadounidense de amplia trayectoria. La alcaldesa dijo que esta será la primera presentación de esta artista en Chile, y que “está consolidada como una de las voces más impresionantes y viene muy galardonada con los Grammy, entonces creo que va a ser muy interesante contar con ella y, además, es una mujer muy poderosa que tiene harto que decir”.

Para el evento también se confirmó la presencia de la banda chilena Los Jaivas, una agrupación de rock y de ritmos andinos que llega al festival para conmemorar sus 60 años de historia. “También tenemos que tener el componente identitario y es importante relevar los talentos que son de nuestra ciudad; ellos tienen 60 años de carrera, su trayectoria es impresionante”.

Parrilla programática

El primer día de festival estará a cargo de Karol G y Paloma Mami, una cantante urbana de nacionalidad chilena-estadounidense. La segunda jornada se destacará por la presentación de la banda mexicana Maná. Hasta el momento, no hay otro show para ese 20 de febrero.

El martes 21 febrero estará marcado por la presentación del mexicano, Alejandro Fernández, y de Los Jaivas. Para el miércoles 22 todavía no hay artistas confirmados. El jueves 23 será una noche potente porque quien se subirá al escenario es Christina Aguilera. Tras su show, el cantante urbano Polimá Westcoast es quien cerrará la noche.
