Alcalde honrA a las ganadoras de los premios Pinnacle / 2023 Pinnacle Award Winners announced

TULSA – YWCA Tulsa, en consorcio con la Comisión del alcalde en el estatus de la mujer y el alcalde G.T. Bynum ha anunciado las homenajeadas de los Premios Pinnacle 2023 que celebra a las mujeres excepcionales de Tulsa.

Premio Anna C. Roth Legacy será presentado a Rose Washington-Jones, directora ejecutiva de Tulsa Economic Development Corporation (la Corporación de desarrollo económico de Tulsa).

Premio de Artes y Humanidades será presentado a Dra. Tamecca Rogers. Nativa de Tulsa, Dra. Rogers es una cineasta, autora, editora, columnista y CEO de una organización sin fines de lucro.

Premio al Servicio Comunitario será presentado a Irma Chajecki. Chajecki es la especialista de inmigrantes bilingüe para American Dream Center y por más de 40 años ha ayudado a los inmigrantes en nuestra ciudad.

Premio a Empresas Corporativas será presentado a Elian Hurtado Jarve. Hurtado Jarve es una consultora de negocios con más de 20 años de experiencia ayudando a empresas financieras a aumentar sus ingresos y aumentar su presencia en las comunidades hispanas/latinx.

Premio de Educación será presentado a Dra. Sarah Wyatt. Dra. Wyatt es la directora de Estrategias y operaciones para el consorcio de educación superior de Tulsa.

Premio al Emprendedor será presentado a Anita Williams. Después de una carrera larga como enfermera registrada, Williams se independizo y fundo A&M Health Care Clinic que es una clínica de atención primaria en el norte de Tulsa creada para promover equidad de salud y acceso para personas mayores de 14 años.

Premio a la Salud y el Bienestar será presentado a Deneisha Johnson. Johnson es una partidaria de la salud del comportamiento en la comunidad de Tulsa al servir como la presidenta del consejo y la presidenta de relaciones públicas de Counseling & Recovery Services of Oklahoma (Servicios de consejería y recuperación de Oklahoma).

Premio a la Estrella en Ascenso será presentado a Ashley Townsend. Townsend es la vicepresidenta y la gerente comunitaria de Chase Bank y es la primera persona en Tulsa en ocupar este papel comunitario tan importante.

Premio al Campeón Corporativo será presentado a The Persimmon Group. La industria de administración de consultor es tradicionalmente dominada por el hombre, pero Persimmon Group está rompiendo barreras dónde la mujer representa el 50 por ciento del liderazgo superior y el 71 por ciento de las posiciones de consultor superior.

2023 Pinnacle Award Winners announced

TULSA – YWCA Tulsa, in partnership with the Mayor’s Commission on the Status of Women, has announced the honorees for the 2023 Pinnacle Awards celebrating exceptional women of Tulsa.

The Anna C. Roth Legacy Award will be presented to Rose Washington-Jones, chief executive officer of Tulsa Economic Development Corporation.

The Arts and Humanities Award will be presented to Dr. Tamecca Rogers. A Tulsa native, Dr. Rogers is a filmmaker, author, publisher, columnist and CEO of a nonprofit organization.

The Community Service Award will be presented to Irma Chajecki, who is well known for her work in the Hispanic community. Chajecki currently serves as a bilingual immigrant specialist for the American Dream Center and has spent more than 40 years helping immigrants in our city.

The Corporate Business Award will be presented Elian Hurtado Jarve. The founder of Galera Business Consulting, Hurtado Jarve is a business consultant with over 20 years of expertise in helping financial companies increase revenue and grow their presence in Hispanic/Latinx communities.

The Education Award will be presented to Dr. Sarah Wyatt. Dr. Wyatt is the Director of Strategy and Operations for the Tulsa Higher Education Consortium.

The Entrepreneur Award will be presented to Anita Williams. After a lengthy career as a registered nurse, Williams branched out and founded A&M Health Care Clinic, a primary care clinic in North Tulsa created to promote health equity and access for adults 14 years of age and older.

The Health & Wellness Award will be presented to Deneisha Johnson. Johnson is a strong advocate for behavioral health in the Tulsa community, serving as the current board chair and the public relations chair for Counseling & Recovery Services of Oklahoma.

The Rising Star Award will be presented to Ashley Townsend. Townsend is a Vice President and Community Manager at Chase bank and is the first person in Tulsa to occupy this important community role.

The Corporate Champion Award will be presented to The Persimmon Group. The management consulting industry is traditionally dominated by men, but the Persimmon Group is breaking barriers with women representing 50 percent of its senior leadership and 71 percent of its senior consultant positions. Persimmon has also prioritized the recruitment and advancement of women of color.

“As Mayor of Tulsa, I am honored to recognize this year’s Pinnacle Award winners – women who have distinguished themselves as leaders in our community,” Mayor G.T. Bynum said. “I am grateful for their service as professionals and volunteers, working to make Tulsa a better place.”
