New research has revealed the top 10 US states with the shortest life expectancy and Oklahoma features with an average life expectancy of 74.1 years, which is the 8th shortest in the US.
Health experts at NiceRx have revealed the US states and countries with the highest and lowest healthcare expenditure in 2020, as well as those with the highest and lowest life expectancy and the longest and shortest hospital waiting times.

At the opposite end of the spectrum are the states with the longest life expectancy: (#1) Hawaii, 80.7 years, (#2) Washington, 79.2 years, and (#3) Minnesota, 79.1 years.
The average life expectancy in the US is 79.11 years, five years longer than in Oklahoma.
