El último capítulo de la fiesta grande del futbol mexicano está por escribirse luego de unas semifinales de alarido con dos clásicos que dejaron a Tigres y Chivas como los flamantes finalistas que se disputarán el trofeo del torneo Clausura 2023 en la Liga MX.
Los Felinos y los Rojiblancos sufrieron en la misión de echar a sus acérrimos rivales con tal de disputarse uno de los campeonatos más parejos de los últimos años, con los mejores clubes en instancias definitivas y que necesitaron hasta el último minuto de sus eliminatorias para poder llegar a la cita máxima.
¿Cómo llegan Tigres y Chivas a la final?
El conjunto universitario volvió a aprovechar el gran momento de Sebastián Córdova para eliminar a la Pandilla con global 2-1, incluso pese a cerrar la serie en campo ajeno, y así llegar nuevamente a una final, con el objetivo de volver a darle alegrías a una afición necesitada de títulos.
Por su parte, el ‘Rebaño Sagrado’ resistió caer en la ida para firmar una épica remontada en el Estadio Azteca, donde venció 3-1 al América para ganar 3-2 en el global y asistir nuevamente a una serie final apenas seis años después de su última aparición, donde se va a topar al mismo rival de aquel entonces.

El primer choque entre Tigres y Chivas será en el Estadio Universitario de Monterrey. La ida será el jueves 25 de mayo a las 21:10 (hora del este de Estados Unidos), mientras que el partido de vuelta tendrá lugar en el Estadio Akron de Guadalajara el domingo 28 de mayo a las 21 horas (hora del este de Estados Unidos). Ambos partidos podrán seguirse en directo a través de TUDN USA y Univision.
La serie será una reedición de la Gran Final del Clausura 2017, misma que se jugó en el mismo orden en cuanto a los recintos de la ida y la vuelta, así como en las mismas fechas para ambos juegos. El juego de ida, jugado en Nuevo León, terminó empatado 2-2, mientras que el juego de vuelta en la perla de occidente, el ‘Rebaño Sagrado’ ganó 2-1 y levantó su título de liga número 12.
