News Staff – TULSA, Okla. — Firefighters said a church in east Tulsa was damaged Thursday night in a fire.

Fire crews responded to the Chapel of Restoration near 21st and 129th East Ave around 11 p.m.

Firefighters said they saw tall flames coming from the building when they arrived.

Firefighters said a portion of the church was destroyed, but the majority was saved.

The cause of the fire is under investigation. No injuries were reported.
