POR AFP – Madonna se recupera de la infección bacteriana grave que la mantuvo varios días en la unidad de cuidados intensivos de un hospital, anunció este miércoles su representante, Guy Oseary, en un comunicado publicado en las redes sociales.

«Su salud está mejorando, aunque sigue bajo cuidados médicos», señala Oseary antes de precisar que se «se espera que se recupere plenamente».

La gira Celebration, que la Reina del Pop de 64 años de edad iba a empezar el 15 de julio en la ciudad canadiense de Vancouver, ha sido pospuesta hasta nuevo aviso.

«En este momento necesitamos hacer una pausa en todos los compromisos, que incluyen la gira», dijo el representante.

Según el tabloide Page Six, la estrella del pop había sido hallada inconsciente por lo que fue trasladada a un hospital de Nueva York.

84 conciertos

La gira de Madonna, que incluye 84 conciertos, según su página web, pretendía ser una celebración de sus más de cuatro décadas de éxito en los escenarios.
