Por Luis Guillermo Vázquez – Con solamente un día para que termine la Fase de Grupos, estos serían los encuentros de Dieciseisavos de Final de la Leagues Cup entre Liga MX y MLS.

Comienzan a quedar definidos los duelos de dieciseisavos de final de la Leagues Cup, misma que cuenta con clubes de la MLS y de la Liga MX. De los 16 partidos que se van a disputar en la siguiente ronda, 12 ya aquedaron definidos, donde llama la atención el clásico de Florida entre Inter Miami y Orlando City SC.

Tendremos dos clásicos en la siguiente ronda. Además del duelo entre los equipos del estado de Florida, también los dos clubes neoyorkinos chocarán en busca de su boleto a los Octavos de Final. Además, son nueve los partidos entre clubes de México y Estados Unidos que están ya definidos.

El LAFC y el Pachuca, quienes lograron su boleto después de ser los campeones en invierno, consiguieron su pasaje directo a la segunda ronda, ya conocieron a sus rivales en las eliminatorias. Los californianos se medirán a un sorpresivo Juárez que viene de derrotar a Austin FC, mientras que los ‘Tuzos’ enfrentarán al Houston Dynamo.

Si no hay alguna sorpresa en los partidos de este lunes, América deberá de finalizar como líder de su grupo, aunque enfrente tendrá a un Columbus Crew que suele crecerse jugando en casa. Las Chivas buscarán evitar la eliminación ante el Sporting Kansas City. Por otro lado, Toluca, que venció a Nashville en su debut, salta como favorito ante Colorado Rapids.
