Monterrey volvió a confirmar que es uno de los equipos más potentes de la Liga MX dentro de la Leagues Cup. Los dirigidos por Fernando Ortiz no tuvieron piedad contra el campeón de la Concachampions del año pasado. Aunque los primeros cinco minutos del encuentro fueron un espejismo por los dos goles del Seattle, Monterrey es uno de esos equipos que crecen en la adversidad y lograron una remontada memorable.
