El conflicto entre Israel y Palestina que hoy ha tenido un nuevo capítulo, es tema para muchas películas en el orbe, pero casi ninguna disponible en México.

Una palabra: ocupación

De qué trata: Hace 22 años que Nejemye Tenenbaum , exestudiante en una escuela hebrea judía, se volvió activista reprobando la ocupación militar que Israel tiene sobre Palestina.

Y hace seis que comenzó a recabar material de video y fotográfico para un documental alusivo, mucho inédito, el cual comenzó a recorrer festivales con buena respuesta por parte del público.

De 29 minutos de duración, el cortometraje documental tiene como base al activista Gershon Baskin, opositor a la ocupación militar israelí la cual, desde su punto de vista, devasta día a día la vida de millones de palestinos y daña también los valores judíos del pueblo de Israel.

Ajami

De qué trata: Es una película israelí que compitió por el Oscar en 2010 y que obtuvo una mención especial de la Cámara de Oro en Cannes. La historia se sitúa en un barrio de la ciudad de Jaffa, donde conviven diversas culturas, pero sin dejar de lado momentos tensos.

De las cinco historias que se cuentan, la mitad es protagonizada por actores naturales palestinos. La cinta fue dejada mucho a la improvisación, por lo que las relaciones entre mulsulmanes, judíos y cristianos son en gran parte verdaderas, pero siempre con la esperanza de que mediante el diálogo y la conciencia, se puede vivir en paz.

De qué trata: Una mujer que vive con su familia en Palestina recibe la llamada telefónica de un soldado israelí que le alerta de un bombardeo que sucederá en su hogar en diez minutos. Sin tiempo para conseguir escapar, ella junto a su familia, deciden aceptar su destino. El cortometraje ganó en Le Petit Cannes Film Festival.

Inch’ Allah

De qué trata: Ganadora en la Berlinale 2013, la cinta sigue a una enfermera canadiense que colabora en un campo de refugiados palestinos en Cisjordania y los obstáculos que recibe por parte del ejército israelí.

Dirigida por Anaïs Barbeau-Lavalette, la película tiene como particularidad ser la visión de alguien extranjero al conflicto, por lo que lejos de estar de uno u otro lado, muestra las distintas realidades con objetividad.
