Gathering Place es el mejor parque urbano según USA TODAY / Gathering Place Named USA TODAY’s Best City Park for 2024

TULSA, OK — Gathering Place ha recibido oficialmente el premio al Mejor Parque Urbano de USA TODAY para 2024 tras un mes de votación pública. Tras ser elegido por un panel de expertos y los editores de USA TODAY 10 Best, Gathering Place fue nominado para este premio junto con otros 19 parques urbanos de todo Estados Unidos antes de ser votado por el público. 

“Gathering Place se siente honrado de haber sido elegido Mejor Parque Urbano por segunda vez en los cinco años de historia del parque”, declaró Julio Badin, director ejecutivo de Gathering Place. “Este premio de los lectores es un testimonio del increíble apoyo que hemos recibido de la comunidad de Tulsa. Nos sentimos honrados por la forma en que la comunidad se unió para impulsar el parque hasta el puesto número uno, asegurando otro galardón para nuestra ciudad”. 

El reconocimiento a la elección de los lectores de USA TODAY marca la tercera victoria para Gathering Place en cinco años, después de su reconocimiento anterior como Mejor Nueva Atracción de USA TODAY en 2019 y Mejor Parque de la Ciudad en 2021.

Gathering Place Named USA TODAY’s Best City Park for 2024

TULSA, OK — Gathering Place has officially received the award for USA TODAY’s Best City Park for 2024 following a month-long public vote. After being chosen by an expert panel and the USA TODAY 10 Best editors, Gathering Place was nominated for this award along with 19 other city parks across the United States before being voted on by the public.  

“Gathering Place is honored to be voted Best City Park for the second time in the park’s five-year history,” said Julio Badin, Executive Director of Gathering Place. “This readers’ choice award is a testament to the incredible support we have received from the Tulsa community. We are humbled by how the community rallied to boost the park to the number one spot, securing another accolade for our city.” 

The USA TODAY reader’s choice recognition marks the third win for Gathering Place in five years, following its prior recognition as USA TODAY’s Best New Attraction in 2019 and Best City Park in 2021.
