Disparan a un niño de 10 años en el este de Tulsa / 10-Year-Old Shot in East Tulsa

Tulsa, OK – La unidad de armas de la policía de Tulsa está investigando el tiroteo de un niño de 10 años y está buscando la ayuda del público para identificar y localizar a una persona de interés vinculada al incidente.

El tiroteo ocurrió el 29 de diciembre de 2024, alrededor de las 2:20 a.m. Los oficiales respondieron a una llamada en los apartamentos Autumn Ridge cerca de 21st Street y Memorial Drive. Al llegar, encontraron a un chico joven con una herida de bala en la pierna.

Según los investigadores, el chico estaba durmiendo en su habitación cuando una bala atravesó la pared del apartamento y le alcanzó. Las pruebas halladas en el lugar de los hechos sugieren que los disparos procedían del aparcamiento de un bar situado al oeste del complejo de apartamentos.

El padre del niño contó que estaba casi dormido cuando oyó el disparo cerca de su casa. Momentos después, descubrió que su hijo había sido alcanzado. El niño fue trasladado al hospital y se espera que se recupere.

La policía de Tulsa ha difundido imágenes de una persona de interés e insta a cualquiera que tenga información sobre este individuo o sobre el tiroteo a que se ponga en contacto con Crime Stoppers de Tulsa llamando al 918-596-COPS. 10-Year-Old Shot in East Tulsa

Tulsa, OK – The Tulsa Police Crime Gun Unit is investigating the shooting of a 10-year-old boy and is seeking the public’s help in identifying and locating a person of interest linked to the incident.

The shooting occurred on December 29, 2024, around 2:20 a.m. Officers responded to a call at the Autumn Ridge Apartments near 21st Street and Memorial Drive. Upon arrival, they found a young boy with a gunshot wound to his leg.

According to investigators, the boy was asleep in his room when a bullet pierced through the apartment wall, striking him. Evidence at the scene suggests the gunfire originated from the parking lot of a bar located west of the apartment complex.

The boy’s father recounted that he was nearly asleep when he heard the gunshot near their home. Moments later, he discovered his son had been hit. The child was transported to the hospital and is expected to recover.

Tulsa Police have released images of a person of interest and urge anyone with information about this individual or the shooting to contact Tulsa Crime Stoppers at 918-596-COPS. Callers can remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward if their information leads to an arrest.
