«¡Tulsa Sings!» vuelve el 8 de marzo | returns March 8

TULSA, OK — Signature Symphony del Tulsa Community College presentará la sexta edición anual del concurso de talentos vocales «¡Tulsa Sings!», un evento diseñado para destacar el talento vocal local aún por descubrir. El concurso ofrece a los vocalistas de Tulsa la oportunidad de actuar junto a una orquesta profesional y uno de los artistas vocales más célebres de Nueva York.

El concierto «¡Tulsa Sings! Open Mic Night» está programado para el sábado 8 de marzo, con ocho finalistas que surgieron de un competitivo proceso de audición que incluyó presentaciones en video y rondas de llamadas.

«Tulsa Sings es fácilmente uno de los eventos más divertidos del año», dice el director artístico de la Signature Symphony, Scott Seaton. «Tener un nivel de talento tan extraordinariamente alto compitiendo junto a la Signature Symphony es suficiente para poner una sonrisa de anticipación en mi rostro. Los finalistas actuarán en el VanTrease Performing Arts Center for Education del TCC Southeast bajo la tutela de Scott Coulter, un galardonado vocalista radicado en Nueva York. “Tulsa Sings!” returns March 8

TULSA, OK — Signature Symphony at Tulsa Community College will present the sixth annual “Tulsa Sings!” vocal talent competition, an event designed to spotlight undiscovered local singing talent. The competition offers Tulsa vocalists the rare opportunity to perform alongside a professional orchestra and one of New York’s most celebrated vocal artists.

This year’s “Tulsa Sings! Open Mic Night” concert is scheduled for Saturday, March 8, featuring eight finalists who emerged from a competitive audition process that included video submissions and callback rounds.

“Tulsa Sings is easily one of the most fun events of the year,” says Signature Symphony Artistic Director Scott Seaton. “To have such an extraordinarily high level of talent competing alongside the Signature Symphony is enough to put a smile of anticipation on my face. Anyone could become the next champion.”

The 2025 finalists include Teague Applegate, Tori Brunk, Amanda Duncan, L’aria Krautter, Mackenzie Manning, Ryan McGovern, Shannon O’Brien, and Andra Pantelimon.

Finalists will perform at TCC Southeast’s VanTrease Performing Arts Center for Education under the mentorship of Scott Coulter, an award-winning New York-based vocalist. Beyond competing, participants receive valuable coaching from Coulter on vocal technique and artistic interpretation.

A panel of local celebrity judges will select the Grand Prize Winner, who will earn a featured spot in the “Christmas in Tulsa” concert. Audience members will also vote for an Audience Favorite, who will perform at the annual “4th on the 3rd” concert on July 3.
