Policía de Tulsa mata a una mujer / Woman shot, killed by TPD

TULSA, OK — Según el Departamento de Policía de Tulsa (TPD), un agente de policía de Tulsa disparó mortalmente a una mujer durante una llamada por disturbios domésticos el 5 de julio de 2025.

El incidente ocurrió alrededor de las 8:40 p. m. cerca de Admiral y S. 189th E. Ave. cuando los agentes respondieron a una llamada por un altercado doméstico en el que estaba involucrada una mujer armada. Según el TPD, «la persona que llamó informó que la mujer, identificada como Danielle Lee Fisher, de 49 años, se le acercó con cuchillos, comenzó a actuar de forma errática y, en un momento dado, blandió un cuchillo cuando un niño en bicicleta pasaba junto a ella».

Cuando los agentes llegaron al lugar, Fisher había entrado en la casa, donde se oía a dos personas discutir. El TPD declaró que «cuando los agentes llamaron a la puerta, Fisher y un hombre desnudo aparecieron en la puerta principal. Fisher salió de la casa y se abalanzó sobre los agentes con dos cuchillos en las manos».

El departamento describió el comportamiento de Fisher como «una situación peligrosa y amenazante» debido a su «comportamiento agresivo hacia los agentes y el público». Uno de los agentes disparó su arma, alcanzando a Fisher, que soltó los cuchillos y se desplomó.

Los agentes le prestaron asistencia médica de inmediato, pero Fisher murió en el lugar de los hechos a causa de sus heridas, según el TPD.

Una búsqueda en los registros judiciales muestra que Fisher había sido detenida en varias ocasiones en el condado de Tulsa durante los últimos 14 años, por delitos que iban desde conducir bajo los efectos del alcohol hasta violencia doméstica.

El agente implicado en el tiroteo ha sido suspendido de sus funciones, lo que, según el TPD, es el procedimiento habitual. Todas las pruebas del incidente se remitirán a la Fiscalía del condado de Tulsa para que se revisen las acciones del agente como parte de la investigación en curso.

Woman shot, killed by TPD

TULSA, OK — A Tulsa police officer fatally shot a woman during a domestic disturbance call on July 5th, 2025, according to the Tulsa Police Department. (TPD)

The incident occurred around 8:40 p.m. near Admiral and S. 189th E. Ave. when officers responded to reports of a domestic disturbance involving an armed woman. According to TPD, “the caller reported that the woman, identified as Danielle Lee Fisher, 49, approached her with knives, began acting erratically, and at one point, swung a knife as a child on a bicycle rode past her.”

When officers arrived at the scene, Fisher had gone inside the home where two people could be heard arguing. TPD stated that “when Officers knocked on the door, Fisher and an unclothed male appeared at the front door. Fisher exited the home and charged the Officers with two knives in her hands.”

The department described Fisher’s behavior as creating “a dangerous and threatening situation” due to her “aggressive behavior towards Officers and the public.” One officer discharged his weapon, striking Fisher and causing her to drop the knives and collapse.

Officers immediately provided medical aid, but Fisher died at the scene from her injuries, according to TPD.

A search of court records shows that Fisher had several arrests in Tulsa County over the past 14 years, on charges ranging from DUI to domestic abuse.

The officer involved in the shooting has been placed on administrative leave, which TPD says is standard procedure. All evidence from the incident will be submitted to the Tulsa County District Attorney’s Office for review of the officer’s actions as part of the ongoing investigation.

Toxicology reports are still pending, according to the department. (La Semana)
