Tom Cruise es uno de los pocos famosos de Hollywood que prefiere filmar sus propias escenas de acción.

El actor de 58 años se niega a tener un doble, y no le importa si la secuencia es arriesgada, vertiginosa o complicada. Así lo demostró este fin de semana en Noruega, durante el rodaje de Misión Imposible Siete, donde se dejó ver en lo alto de un tren en marcha, sonriente y tranquilo.

A través de TikTok, el usuario Tomas Haugland Spangelo compartió un video en el que se ve a Tom Cruise sentado en el techo de la locomotora. Las imágenes fueron grabadas desde un auto que circulaba por una carretera secundaria, anexa a las vías del ferrocarril. Cuando los jóvenes en el interior del vehículo se dan cuenta de que se trata del famoso actor, comienzan a gritar y aullar de júbilo.

Si la imagen de por sí ya parecía surrealista, en un momento del clip, el protagonista mira a los ocupantes del auto, y con una serenidad sorprendente, les dedica un saludo amistoso con la mano, mientras sonríe divertido.

“Él está sentado ahí”, escribió Spangelo en letras mayúsculas junto a la publicación de TikTok.

A lo largo de la jornada de rodaje, el tren se cruzó con otros testigos. En Instagram, la usuaria @fotokjerring76 publicó también unas imágenes en las que se observa al actor parado sobre uno de los vagones, listo para comenzar a filmar.

“A veces estás justo en el lugar correcto, a la hora correcta”, escribió en la descripción del clip.

Esta no es la primera vez que Tom Cruise se pone en peligro en una escena de alto riesgo. A finales de agosto, tras el parón de las producciones en Hollywood por la pandemia del COVID-19, retomó el rodaje de la séptima entrega de Misión Imposible, y poco después de que iniciaran las grabaciones, impactó a sus fans al realizar una peligrosa acrobacia para una de las tomas.

En esa ocasión, el intérprete, a bordo de una motocicleta, condujo a toda velocidad por una pasarela construida en la ladera de una montaña. Cuando se terminó la rampa, no se detuvo: siguió hacia adelante y cayó al vacío con su moto, al tiempo que se abría un paracaídas.

Las imágenes fueron filmadas también en Noruega, al borde de la montaña Helsetkopen en el municipio de Stranda, con la ayuda de la cámara de un helicóptero y un drone.

Además, en otras entregas de la saga de espías, protagonizó otras escenas cardíacas y épicas, como cuando escaló la cima del rascacielos Burj Khalifa en Dubái -para Misión Imposible 4: Protocolo Fantasma-, o se colgó al costado de un avión militar A400 -Misión Imposible 5: Nación Secreta-.

Tras filmar el truco del tren este fin de semana, el propio director, Christopher McQuarrie, publicó un cuadro de la secuencia, donde se ve a Tom Cruise luchando sobre el techo del ferrocarril, con un helicóptero de fondo.

“La magnitud y belleza de Noruega han dejado una huella indeleble y determinante en nuestra película y nos recordaron que todo es posible”, escribió en el mensaje, en el que dedicó un agradecimiento a varios organismos y grupos cinematográficos de Noruega.

“Sobre todo, agradecemos a la gente cálida y acogedora de Noruega. Su amabilidad y consideración son nada menos que una inspiración. Les echaremos mucho de menos y estamos deseando volverlos a ver. Sujétate Roma. Allá vamos”, concluyó McQuarrie.

The 58-year-old actor refuses to have a stuntman, and it doesn’t matter if the sequence is risky, fast-paced, or complicated. This was demonstrated this weekend in Norway, during the filming of Mission Impossible Seven, where was seen on top of a moving train, smiling and calm.

Through TikTok, user Tomas Haugland Spangelo shared a video in which Tom Cruise is seen sitting on the roof of the locomotive. The images were recorded from a car that was traveling on a secondary road, attached to the railroad tracks. When the young people inside the vehicle realize that it is the famous actor, they begin to shout and howl with glee.

If the image in itself already seemed surreal, at one point in the clip, the protagonist looks at the occupants of the car, and with surprising serenity, He gives them a friendly wave, while smiling amusedly.

Throughout the day of filming, the train crossed with other witnesses. On Instagram, the user @ fotokjerring76 also published some images in which the actor is seen standing on one of the wagons, ready to start filming.

This isn’t the first time Tom Cruise has put himself in danger in a high-stakes scene. At the end of August, after the stoppage of productions in Hollywood due to the COVID-19 pandemic, he resumed filming the seventh installment of Mission Impossible, Y shortly after filming began, he shocked his fans by performing a dangerous stunt for one of the takes.

After filming the train stunt this weekend, the director himself, Christopher McQuarrie, published a picture of the sequence, where Tom Cruise is seen fighting on the roof of the railroad, with a helicopter in the background.
