TULSA, Okla. − Tulsa IrishFest is making a comeback at River West Festival Park after a four year hiatus.
Green Country last celebrated Tulsa IrishFest in March of 2020 right before our lives changed due to the pandemic.
There was no event in 2021, 2022 or 2023, so organizers Don Burdick and Millan Hupp are thrilled to bring back food, music and all things Celtic culture from March 8-10, 2024.
The event will move from Guthrie Green to River West Festival Park in west Tulsa and organizers are expecting 15-20,000 people.
“Our goal is now to grow and make this not only a family-friendly festival that everyone can enjoy, but the best IrishFest in the world,” said Burdick.
While there are still many months to plan, they say music acts from Ireland, Scotland, Nova Scotia and the U.S. are already set to wow Tulsans.
“The music is going to be world-class, people will be blown away by how talented these folks are,” said Burdick.
Festival goers will need to buy tickets for Tulsa IrishFest, whereas in previous years admission was free.

TULSA, Okla. − Tulsa IrishFest está regresando al River West Festival Park después de una pausa de cuatro años.
Green Country celebró por última vez Tulsa IrishFest en marzo de 2020 justo antes de que nuestras vidas cambiaran debido a la pandemia.
No hubo ningún evento en 2021, 2022 o 2023, por lo que los organizadores Don Burdick y Millan Hupp están encantados de traer de vuelta la comida, la música y todo lo relacionado con la cultura celta del 8 al 10 de marzo de 2024.
El evento se trasladará de Guthrie Green a River West Festival Park en el oeste de Tulsa y los organizadores esperan entre 15 000 y 20 000 personas.
“Nuestro objetivo ahora es crecer y hacer de este no solo un festival familiar que todos puedan disfrutar, sino el mejor IrishFest del mundo”, dijo Burdick.
Si bien aún quedan muchos meses para planificar, dicen que los actos musicales de Irlanda, Escocia, Nueva Escocia y los EE. UU. ya están listos para sorprender a los tulsanos.
“La música va a ser de clase mundial, la gente quedará impresionada por el talento de esta gente”, dijo Burdick.
Los asistentes al festival deberán comprar boletos para Tulsa IrishFest, mientras que en años anteriores la entrada era gratuita.
