Por: LW – El Torneo Apertura 2023 de la Liga MX termina en su fase regular y ya tenemos al campeón de goleo. Se trata del centrodelantero colombiano, Harold Preciado, de Santos, quien se corona con un gran certamen personal.

Con 11 anotaciones, el cafetalero queda en la cima de los goleadores en este campeonato mexicano de Primera División, por delante de otros romperredes importantes, como el francés, André-Pierre Gignac, de Tigres.

Gracias a las once anotaciones del ex jugador del Deportivo Cali y Jaguares de Córdoba, en su natal Colombia, así como del Shenzhen FC, de China, el cuadro de Santos Laguna ha amarrado su pasaporte ya para la ‘Fiesta Grande’ del futbol mexicano.

Y si bien no se trata precisamente de que verán acción directamente en la Liguilla, al menos aseguraron que serán uno de los cuatro equipos que disputarán el nuevo formato llamado Play-In, o lo que sigue siendo lo mismo que un Repechaje renovado.

Y en cuanto al rendimiento de Harold Preciado, ha sorprendido lo que hizo, ya que en este Apertura 2023 se quedó sin uno de sus principales socios, el delantero mexicano Eduardo ‘Mudo’ Herrera, quien partió al Atlas. Pero eso no ha detenido al internacional por la Selección Colombia, que celebra su primer título de goleo en México.

Guillermo Martínez, del Puebla, solo se acercó con su décimo tanto y Ángel Sepúlveda, del Cruz Azul, se fue en blanco en el último duelo del torneo y eran los únicos que amenazaban a Preciado entre los romperredes.

En cuanto a la historia de los goleadores en la Liga MX que ha tenido el equipo de la Comarca Lagunera, es importante recordar que ya han sido cinco los que lo lograron.

Harold Preciado se suma a los que consiguieron antes, jugadores importantes para el club lagunero como Jared Borgetti, Gabriel Caballero, Djaniny Tavares, Christian ‘Chucho’ Benítez y Vicente Matías Vuoso.

En el caso de Caballero, lo logró en el Torneo Verano 1997, con 12 goles.

En cuanto al legendario Borgetti, lo hizo en dos ocasiones, en el Torneo Invierno 2000, con 17 goles, y después en el Torneo Invierno 2001, al lograr 13 goles.

Luego fue el turno de Vuoso, quien también se coronó en dos oportunidades, al lograr 15 goles, en el Torneo Clausura 2005, y luego marcar 11 goles en el Torneo Apertura 2005.

Enseguida fue el turno de otro histórico del club, como el ‘Chucho’ Benítez, quien se hizo con la corona en el Torneo Apertura 2010 al llegar a 14 goles.

El último que lo había conseguido, antes de Harold Preciado, fue Djaniny Tavares, quien alcanzó 14 goles, en el Torneo Clausura 2018.
