Transporte gratuito al centro de Gathering Place / Free downtown shuttles to Gathering Place

Tulsa, Ok. — El viernes 6 de marzo, el alcalde de Tulsa G.T. Bynum y el director ejecutivo de Gathering Place, Tony Moore, anunciaron para los huéspedes del parque un programa gratuito de transporte de ida y vuelta a Williams Lodge desde tres ubicaciones céntricas. Los autobuses de transporte recogerán a los visitantes cada 15 minutos de la 4ª y Denver, TCC Metro Campus, y Boston Avenue Methodist Church. El programa de transporte, en colaboración con Tulsa Transit, comenzará inmediatamente.

El servicio de transporte gratuito Gathering Place funciona todos los fines de semana desde mayo, y todos los días durante las vacaciones de primavera de Tulsa, del 16 al 20 de marzo. Las horas de traslado son a las 4 p.m. al cierre del parque los viernes y a las 10 a.m. al cierre del parque los sábados y domingos. Las horas de transporte se extenderán a 10 a.m. a 8 p.m. todos los días durante las vacaciones de primavera.

Free downtown shuttles to Gathering Place

Tulsa, Okla. – On Friday, March 6, Tulsa Mayor G.T. Bynum and Gathering Place Executive Director Tony Moore announced a free shuttle program to transport park guests back and forth to Williams Lodge from three downtown locations. The shuttle buses will pick up guests every 15 mimes from 4th and Denver, TCC Metro Campus, and Boston Avenue Methodist Church. The shuttle program, in partnership with Tulsa Transit, will begin immediately.

The free Gathering Place shuttle is running every weekend now through May, and every day during Tulsa’s Spring Break, March 16-20. Shuttles hours are 4 p.m. to Park close on Fridays and 10 a.m. to Park close on Saturdays and Sundays. Shuttle hours will extend to 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. every day during Spring Break.

“We are thrilled to offer free and convenient transportation to and from Gathering Place,” Tony Moore, Executive Director, Gathering Place, said. “With the help of our friends at Tulsa Transit and our three shuttle stop locations, we can fulfill our mission of providing a free and inclusive space for all Tulsans to learn and play as one.”

Tulsa Transit is providing three different Gathering Place-themed busses for the shuttle program. Each bus will highlight different Park attractions, with features wrapped on the outside as well as theming and additional Park information on the inside.

“If it wasn’t enough for Gathering Place to be free to visit, it will now be free to get to from downtown,” Tulsa Mayor G.T. Bynum said. “This unique partnership between Tulsa Transit and Gathering Place is connecting Downtown Tulsa and our cherished park in an exciting new way.”

During the summer months when Park attendance is at its highest, the free shuttle program will extend the days and hours. June 1, 2020, to August 31, 2020, the shuttles will operate Monday-Thursday from 4 p.m. to Park close, and Friday-Sunday 10 a.m. to Park close.
