Arkansas le pone 55 a La Universidad Estatal de Colorado

Podrá repetir la receta ante San Diego?

Nick Starkel parece ser la respuesta para el emparrillado de la Universidad de Arkansas. Después de tener un desempeño decente ante los Rebeldes de Ole Miss, Starkel será el designado, por el momento de guiar a los Jabalís a la tierra prometida y tratar de repetir la dosis ante San Diego mañana sábado en el Estadio Donald W. Reynolds. 

“Primeramente siempre es bueno ganar, y poder llegar a los vestidores y ver la energía de los muchachos y todo el trabajo y esfuerzo hecho previo a este encuentro, el gozo y la felicidad es la recompensa. Apreciamos el apoyo de nuestra afición, como dije durante la semana, entrenamos muy bien, y le exigimos mucho a nuestros jugadores, sabíamos que cometeríamos errores, tenemos un equipo muy joven y no somos perfectos.” Dijo Chad Morris timonel de Arkansas en la conferencia de prensa.

Si bien la victoria de Arkansas ante la Universidad Estatal de Colorado le trajo tranquilidad al equipo y cuerpo técnico. Lo clave de la escuadra de Arkansas fue la manera como jugaron los últimos quince minutos del partido. Y es de la manera como Chad Morris quiere que el equipo cierre cada encuentro. En el pasado, Arkansas ha sufrido en el cuarto tiempo y había perdido muchos juegos apretados. Pero ante Colorado la historia fue diferente y se aprovecharon los errores del rival y el esfuerzo de la defensa Jabalí.

“Para ganar en los últimos minutos del partido fue crucial, el partido estaba empatado 34-34,  y lo que le dijimos a los muchachos fue de jugar con tranquilidad y una jugada a la vez. Especialmente con lo que vivimos en ano pasado. Nick hizo un gran trabajo, se preparo muy bien, perdió algunas oportunidades, una de sus ventajas es que lanza el balón rápidamente, y el nivel de confianza con el que jugo fue muy bueno.” Concluyo Chad Morris.

Arkansas recibe a la Universidad Estatal de San José este próximo sábado. Dicho encuentro esta programado par alas 6:30 P.M en Fayetteville y será transmitido por la cadena SEC.

Can Razorbacks repeat same dose against  San Diego State?

Nick Starkel seems to be the answer for the Arkansas Razorbacks. After having a decent performance against the Ole Miss Rebels, Starkel is the chosen one, for the moment to guide the Hogs to the promised land and try to repeat the dose against San Diego State tomorrow at Donald W. Reynolds Stadium. 

 “First of all it is always good to win, and to be able to go the locker rooms and see the energy of the boys and all the work and effort made prior to this game, joy and happiness is the reward. We appreciate the support of our fans, as I said during the week, we trained very well, and we demanded a lot from our players, we knew we would make mistakes, we have a very young team and we are not perfect. ”Chad Morris said during his press conference.

While Arkansas’ victory over Colorado State brought peace of mind to the team and coaching staff. The key to the Arkansas squad was the way they played the in the fourth quarter. It’s the way Chad Morris wants the team to close each game. In the past, Arkansas has suffered in the fourth uqarter and had lost many tight games. But before Colorado State; the story was different and the mistakes of the rival and the effort of the Razorback’s defense were used. 

 “To win in the last minutes of the game was crucial, the game was tied 34-34, and what we told the boys was to play one play at a time. Especially with what we experience last year. Nick did a great job, he prepared very well, he lost some opportunities, one of his advantages is that he throws the ball quickly, and the level of confidence with which he played was very good. ”Chad Morris concluded.  

Arkansas welcomes San Jose State this tomorrow. Kick off is scheduled for 6:30 P.M in inside Donald W. Reynolds Stadium. The game will be broadcast on the SEC network.
