ROMA.- Laura Pausini sueña con alzarse con su primer Óscar a la mejor canción el próximo 25 de abril, una posibilidad que aún digiere, pues hasta hace poco ni siquiera había pasado por su cabeza, y que ha revolucionado su vida en el año más enrarecido.

Un tema cargado de significado que Laura Pausini interpretará desde la azotea del Museo de la Academia de Hollywood en Los Ángeles (EE.UU.), al igual que el resto de candidatos a Mejor Canción original, en un programa especial antes de la gala, que este año transcurrirá entre estrictas medidas de seguridad por el coronavirus y para la que los artistas nominados han tenido que cumplir una cuarentena.

La cantante italiana más internacional se ha colado en la lista de nominados por su canción «Io si», escrita por Diane Warren para la película «La vita davanti a sé» («The Life Ahead»), el regreso a la gran pantalla de la gran Sophia Loren a las órdenes de su hijo, Edoardo Ponti.
