Tulsa, OK- El pasado 4 de diciembre la familia de los supermercados Morelos se amplió con la apertura del gran mercado de Broken Arrow, y a la fiesta, no faltó nadie.  

Entre todos los presentes se encontraba Teodora Pérez de Ibarra, madre del actual empresario Francisco Ibarra, uno de los flamantes dueños del exitoso supermercado hispano, y quien fuera esposa del fundador del proyecto, Alfonso Ibarra Cortes.  

Roberto Ibarra Cortez, emigró de Mexico a los Estados Unidos en el año de 1969 y con su sueño americano a cuestas sentó las bases para la apertura del primer Supermercado Morelos  en Oklahoma City. Después de trabajar duro varios años, decidió regresar a su país natal Mexico pero, la violencia que estaba viviendo en su país le hizo regresar a Estados Unidos con un sueño más consolidado que le hizo retomar el sueño inconcluso que había dejado cuando se marchó a su país natal. Se puso a trabajar duro en unión con su hermano Alfonso Ibarra, su sobrino Alberto Ibarra y con el apoyo de su familia , lograron inaugurar el primer supermercado Morelos en Oklahoma City que resultó exitosos desde el primer día de su apertura. Ahora es una cadena existosa de supermercados  que cuenta con  9 localidades, la mayoría de ellos en Tulsa. Roberto dice que está muy sorprendido por que no pensó crecer tanto pero que está muy orgulloso y feliz de haber tenido la idea y ser el mentor de este proyecto ya que la receta de su éxito es el cariño y respeto que tienen para sus clientes en calidad y precio manteniendo viva la tradición a las familias hispanas pero lo más importante uniendo culturas, y la motivación de los más jóvenes en la familia que heredan la responsabilidad y trabajan para mejorar y vienen con mejores ideas de crecimiento.

Y el mensaje a nuestros lectores es que no importa lo que venga a tu mente si trabajas fielmente en tus ideas la vida te sorprenderá con el mayor de los éxitos y lo más importante no olvidar tus raíces y trabajar en unión como su padre le enseñó a él y sus 4 hermanos 

Morelos es un lugar de tradiciones vivas donde México se respira en cada góndola, y como afirma Roberto Ibarra Cortés, uno de los hermanos fundadores de las tiendas Morelos,  “es la unión que nos dieron nuestros padres y el hecho de que siempre nos acordáramos las tradiciones lo que hizo que nos fuera bien.  Pues la atención y el cariño que tenemos por nuestra cultura hizo la diferencia y ¡estos grandes  sobrinos que vinieron con ganas de trabajar!”.

He began to work hard in partnership with his brother Alfonso Ibarra, his nephew Alberto Ibarra and with the support of his family, they managed to open the first Morelos supermarket in Oklahoma City that was successful from day one of its opening. Now it is a popular chain of supermarkets that has nine locations, most of them in Tulsa. Roberto says that he is very surprised that he did not think to grow so much but that he is very proud and happy to have had the idea and to be the mentor of this project since the recipe for its success is the love and respect that they have for their clients as quality and price keeping alive the tradition to Hispanic families but most importantly uniting cultures, and the motivation of the youngest in the family who inherit the responsibility and work to improve and come up with better ideas for growth.
