Power of Families celebra el día de los reyes magos / Power of Families celebrates Three Kings Day

TULSA, OK — El sábado 8 de enero del 2022, el Community Service Council’s Power of Families Program junto con Birth through Eight Strategy for Tulsa, el museo Gilcrease y Tulsa Parks, festejaron el día de los Reyes en el parquet Hicks.

Durante el evento se distribuyeron alimentos y productos del Supermercado Morelos, beneficiando a casi 700 familias con 4000 tamales, 2000 roscas de Pascua y chocolate y 1500 juguetes. Además, incluyó una procesión de Santo Tomás Moro, y la participación de más de 35 voluntarios.

Power of Families celebrates Three Kings Day

TULSA, OK — On Saturday, January 8, Community Service Council’s Power of Families Program, in collaboration with Birth through Eight Strategy for Tulsa, the Gilcrease Museum, and Tulsa Parks, held a Three Kings Day celebration at Hicks Park.

At the event pantry items and food from Supermercado Morelos were distributed to nearly 700 families, who benefited from 4,000 tamales, 2,000 rosca de reyes (“king cakes”), chocolate, and 1,500 toys.  It also included a procession from St. Thomas More and had the collaboration of 35 volunteers.
